Is there still an exchange for Marscoin?
I don't know if Marscoin has ever been on an exchange? What is the price MARS/BTC?

Active pool for MARS, find the exchange information (listed at Cryptopia) at the bottom of this site

Windows wallet v.1.0.3.0 doesn't seem to be syncing, it gets stuck at 3 hours behind.

Is this the latest wallet as there doesn't seem to be any definitive link that states what the latest version is?

Thank you.

It probably means that a new block hasn't been solved. 445431 is the block height I show currently.

old coin with a bright idea

$2000 trading volume at Poloniex over the last 7 days

1-Week price change is about 500%, which is even more than ETH and EXP have
http://alt19.com/19/cryptocurrency.php
almost no sell orders now...

Marscoin is included in the ALT_GALAXY index, which is +217% since the beginning of January

Any dev alive? Wallet doesn't build with newer versions of the miniupnp library on Linux, added a pull request on GitHub with a fix from the Bitcoin source tree.
I guess not. Well, I've described the fix here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=749541.msg13998549#msg13998549

sorry, guys not enough time in the day right now to run a pool, so superninjapool.tk is going down for the time being. Please point your miners elsewhere. I'll be sure that all miners are paid if there are any remaining balances.

Let's see if Mrs makes another push to stay listed ^^^

delisted from Poloniex,

another old coin with an interesting idea and with many holders

the price was 0.00000400-0.00000600 before delisting announcement from Poloniex,
and after an announcement  0.00000100-0.00000200

MRS trading volume was not completely miserable,
for example:

20160302 2.1 BTC
20160303 9.7 BTC
20160303 2.09 BTC
20160319 2.3 BTC
20160322 4.9 BTC

20160523 2.38 BTC
20160524 4.12 BTC
20160602 2.15 BTC

I am still supporting Marscoin where I can..  I have a dedicated miner and pool running on it 24/7.
I was also one of the regular traders on Poloniex and Coins-e (before it vanished off the planet)
I also participated in some of the giveaways.

The incentive to make that 500,000mrs donation to Mars One and the Mars Society count for something one day is too strong for me ;o) as I am an Space Pioneering Enthusiast.   One guy I know designs simulated ROV mars rovers (which hopefully can be linked to rentals from a Marscoin payment gateway one day) which he lets people remotely operate over the internet sometimes and he wants to form an asteroid mining company.

Not sure if helpful to anyone but my pool is here: http://mars.our-game.net  and I have a forum for marscoin here: http://cybernexus.proboards.com/board/30/marscoin (for discussions about the pool or marscoin in general)

If you need active nodes my pool was setup as a crude sort of "supernode"  with a cache of the entire marscoin blockchain when I set it up originally.. so it usually has a few active up or downstream connections linked to it.

I've tried to keep any info i know about Marscoin posted on the pool (and now the forum sticky I added) up to date.

Besides which I still hope to get an online store trading in Marscoin working at some point too one day.  Be it selling Marsbars or in-game purchases.  I am hoping limecart (a coin deamon based php option)  can be adapted to marscoin..  as i really dont like the idea of going through corporate front ends like cointopay or the paypal crypto SDK.

If anyone knows of any current mining pools, or exchanges or online stores or just wants some coins to play with for that matter..  shoot me a message over at my marscoin forum. I'll add what I can to the sticky.

Also POS software that works in Marscoin would be nice too, the only ones I found required API access using your exchange trading logins at several exchanges, and that really sounded unsafe to me..

Cheers

Cudos for keeping the light burning, there really is some unrealized potential in this coin.

good to see new exchanges list old coins burnt by delisting from big exchanges,
maybe some day these coins will be given their second life,

the market cap of MARS currently is $2548 and there is almost no trading volume.
