This isn't a bug,it is to prevent spam.

When you will became a Jr. member or member this will completely be gone.

Next time,copy-paste before you post something.  Wink

You might be able to retrieve it from the drafts when that happens. When posting a new reply, click on the draft hyperlink underneath the Preview button and you might see your old posts saved there.

Your post should be automatically saved in the drafts page (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=drafts).
AFAIK, a draft is saved whenever you click the "preview" button and "post" button (even when it doesn't go through due to the posting limit).

Yup, and the good news is the next 2-week period starts next Tuesday, and so you can finally get rid of the 360s limit then. Smiley

This happened to me MANY times, but on different forums where something happens and the post did not submit correctly, and it's lost. I now make it a habit to Ctrl + C whenever I type a post a few sentence long. If you lose the post, just Ctrl + V and you're good to go, no lost time retyping.
