Thanks for fixing the "duplicate shares exploit."  Hash-to-coins is one of the few pools that has corrected this issue quickly and early.

As many of you know, Cryptsy has had issues with payment withdrawals lately and some people have had their wallet addresses changed without them knowing.  They also halted a lot of trading with deposits yesterday until they could fix their issues.

I believe the pool operator temporarily disabled payouts to insure that Cryptsy users did not lose any of their coins sent from the pool.  It was also a pre-caution to insure that this problem was isolated with Cryptsy only and not the actual pool.

The pool owner is very honest and might be hard to reach at this moment due to traveling, but do not worry -- this should get straightened out shortly!

I would recommend that everyone change their passwords and pins.  Also -- double check your alt coin wallet addresses (especially those used with Cryptsy).

I had several wallet addresses get changed by Cryptsy (without notice) -- but luckily no coins were sent to the old addresses on Cryptsy (due to the payments being temporarily suspended).

It appears Cryptsy is still having issues (according to their Twitter feed) -- so the payouts probably will be suspended until we all know that Cryptsy is ok.

Sorry for the lack of information.
I'm on the road and can not verify exactly what happened.
Tomorrow I will have access to a computer. Payments will be resumed after security check.

Hope you will treat this with understanding.

The Goldcoin (GLD) Developers have just released a mandatory client update.

This patch introduces our new difficulty algorithm called "Golden River". Golden River is an innovative difficulty adjustment that rapidly adjusts to fluctuations in hashing power. You must update your client before block 253000 in order to remain compatible with the network.

Please update now! http://www.gldcoin.com/get-started/

Sorry to trouble you again! Embarrassed

Due to an attacker running up the difficulty, we've had to adjust the block height of the Goldcoin (GLD) fork. The github has been updated and the new fork is going to be at block 251230, which is just a few blocks from now. Please update asap.

insane amount of orphaned blocks for goldcoin, i count 26 since 8/08 started
have pulled all hashing from here till this gets sorted

never mind i read the goldcoin thread and the massive amount of orphans is built into there new algo
more fluctuations in the hash rate causes more orphans
i will not be mining this coin anymore

Yes - you have indicated this on the GLD coin topic as well.  I think we all known that you do not want to mine GLD.
