Yes, they get taxed on their tips, but often times they just pocket a large percentage of them.   I'm sure most servers would just pocket a paper wallet as well...

For that to happen the restaurant itself have to accept bitcoin. Plus, I want the receiver of the tips to figure out how to withdraw the tips, who knows, they might find it intriguing like the rest of us.

Definitely, I would need to load the paper wallet first. 5-10-20-50 dollars I eat out a lot so this should be fun hehe.

LOL yes. The waitstaff have to tip out to chefs, bartender, bus boys, hostess, bar runners, etc. Some restaurants make the waitstaff tip the chef 9% of what they cook. So, if your family ate $200 worth of food and you only tip your server $10, the server have to pull 8 dollars out of his/her pocket to compensate for the inadequate tip.

Why pay $8/hour when you can legally pay your staff $2.75/hour and let your customer pay the rest?
