For r9 280x, am getting " shares above target" rejects.
Can you help out with the commands?

try this with sgminer!

-I 20 -g 1 -w 256 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20
Thanks for helping out, but am getting the same rejects.

What version of sgminer?
And also what's the card brand? MSI, etc..

sgminer 4.1
Asus and sapphire.

try this one.
-p x -I 16 -g 4 -w 128 --shaders 2048 --no-submit-stale

wrong option --difficulty-multiplier 256 for this miner

SPH-sgminer for Windows: Download here
SGMiner SOURCE for Linux: Download here
Example miner settings:

./sgminer -k qubitcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum.pool.mn:7823 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password --difficulty-multiplier 256

and still rejected shares

any idea, please?

No , but change your pool (look the efficiency)

go here : http://xbit.nonce-pool.com

EDIT : try it
Quote
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe -k qubitcoin -o stratum+tcp://mine1.xbit.nonce-pool.com:4030 -u minerswing.1 -p 1 --no-submit-stale -I 18

I am getting : Share is above target?
Working fine for me. I am mining at that pool. Just remember to change your user and password from the info above.

Thanks, the option has been removed from the gettingstarted page.
I haven't tried to mine myself, could you please confirm that you can mine with the same settings other qubit coins?

I dont know why, but whenever i mine a coin, i can never include the text between sgminer and -o Not sure why so try and remove it. see what happens. This part: -k qubitcoin

Or don't and let it die since it is a premine scam.  The guy has 90000 coins he had that will be "converted" into btc.  That means dumped them on the market.  Why bother to mine this coin?  IF it hits an exchange you will be able to buy if for less than it costs to mine it.  Also don't forget the guy who got the premine when the dev messed up the launch for a second time has 10000 coins that he will be trying to dump first before the dev dumps and kills the market if this gets any exchange.

Seems to me the best thing to do is either not mine coins that are pre-mined by the dev Or just accept it and hope that they put the funds to good use and not run off. All investments are a gamble however you look at it.

Would be nice to hear what the developed has planned, to relieve some of the tension about this pending issue.

Not really it only takes a few secs every few hours to post on your shitcoin to inform the public about your premine scam.
