Unfortunately this is allowed, no real way to stop it.
If they made it against the rules people will just sell them off-site and idk about you but I would prefer to have some kind of record that the account was sold.

I'd only consider buying these if I knew the Usernames...getting the rank status is really easy (and I realize there's time involved) but clever user names could have significant value to me.

Why would the account be worthless if we know which account it is? Will the moderators shut it down or something if it sells?

Most likely people would leave negative feedback resulting in it marked "Trade with caution". Nearly worthless then.

I went to "members" and sorted for post count, yes
