Wow, how would one choose a winner if this really was a real thing?

I mean, the sob stories are getting ridiculous and a lot of them have to be bogus.

Really entertaining to see how low [and how creative] some people will stoop, which may be the point of this whole thing. lol.

Expect that is the case.

Sort of amusing reading some of the replies so far. I think the strangest so far is that guy who wants the 100 BTC so he can build better muscles. Not a sob story of course, just... well, sort of bizarre.

Man, if I had that kind of money I would seriously do this but give out 5 prizes of 20 BTC each, including the one that made me laugh the hardest, biggest liar, biggest sob story, most original and most honest post.

What people would do for 100 BTC - this should be televised.

[Mark, you getting this?  Haha!]

CFA, you know there is only one project that needs this donation, and that's Monero. Their development is completely supported by donations, not by a premine or a presale or an IPO. Giving to them will only increase the value of your Monero, and will ultimately lead to your benefit. So far they've raised a whopping 1.93 Bitcoin in over a month since they started accepting donations: https://blockchain.info/address/1FhnVJi2V1k4MqXm2nHoEbY5LV7FPai7bb

Make a difference, you know it's the best thing to do.

I'd put 10% in The Water Project (Noblecoin), 10% in development of Noblecoin, 80% for my flat mortgage.

I would use it to get caught up with my bills, pay some rent and not have to stress daily about how in the hell to feed my kid, dog, cat and occasionally myself.

It all started in July 2013, Life was good, I was recently engaged, Had purchased a new car, and was halfway through the hours of a retainer contract with my largest client. Things were looking great. Then, I had the most insane pain I have ever felt. I thought it was just really bad heartburn since I had ate smoked brisket from a local BBQ joint, and it always screwed my stomach up. For over 48 hours I rolled around in agony, but due to lack of health insurance didn't go to the doctor, after a few days the pain went away, I could move again, so I figured hell what ever it was I am fine now, who needs to spend money on a doctor.

In Dec 2013, I landed 3 new clients that were going to triple my income, the largest being a retainer client for double the contract size as my previously mentioned retainer client. Not to mention that the previous client had already worked me over 400 hours above my 1200 hour per year contract, basically consuming all of my extra time, and preventing me from really being able to do other work. In reality I had worked with this group for 4 years, and had worked myself out of a contract. They needed a larger team and more hours than was possible for my small business, but didn't want to pay enough to help me hire someone, In 2012 the client had even won a "Champion of Change" award from the POTUS. From that point on they went from 10 programs and under 40 employees, to 21 programs, with more in the works, and over 100 employees, they had outgrown me and with my new clients coming on I didn't contest the contract not being renewed at the end of Dec. 2013... After all I had bigger clients coming on the first of the year.

January 2014 started, I began working with the new clients, two of the jobs were time sensitive and to be completed by Feb. The third and largest client, or what was supposed to be my largest client, after a few weeks of working with them, flaked out, and then it was discovered by me, that the money promised for this new contract was contingent upon the business receiving a business loan (after I had been assured the money had already been budgeted), more so, the business "owner", hadn't actually left his former employer, nor brought over employees with him, he had been terminated from his former employer, I however, having also been lifelong friends with the guy, didn't do my normal research in to new clients, and being or seeming to always be on the up and up, took him at his word.

Just as this all came out, and the realization that my main revenue stream for 2014 was basically in the toilet, the weird pains started happening again. At first again I thought heart burn, then possibly heart attack, but being under 40 I brushed that off figuring it was once again the evils of smokes meats.

Within 24 hours the pain had not subsided, it was getting worse, and now included a fever, vomit, and the pain moving from my chest to my right side. The side where you appendix is. I knew as I refused a wheel chair at the ER what it was, I even lasted another hour before actually getting in to the ER and being seen by the attending physician. Then things got really real. The doctors tune changed from one of believing it was serious indigestion and I was being overly dramatic, to one of me needing to be operated on immediately...

That pain in July 2013. It was my appendix initially rupturing. Then somehow, I am honestly not sure how, It didn't burst. Instead from that point until my going into surgery on the 19th of January, was/had been leaking toxic fluid in to my body, when they went to remove the appendix they discovered that the first two inches of it were gangrenous (as in necrotic dead tissue), that I had pockets of this fluid through out my body, and as they attempted to remove what was left of it, the appendix disintegrated, sending my system in to shock, stopping my heart, and forcing them to revive me while also trying to clean out the mass amounts of toxic fluid in my body.

After a week in the hospital on high grade pain meds and antibiotics, I was released to my fiancee. 2 days later she ended our engagement (but only after stealing my prescription on her way out the door). For the next 3 months I recovered from the surgery, and was continuously on some kind of antibiotic as they attempted to remove the pockets of infection. By the time I was able to function in April, I had lost the two clients I had Feb. deadlines for, and have since, had very few small jobs. Nothing that really covers the bills.

Flash forward to now. I still have pockets of infection within my body, the antibiotics have seemed to slow down in their ability to fight the infection. Other than the few small jobs I mentioned, I haven't had much work at all. I have applied to anything and everything in my area, willing to throw away a 16 year career as a web designer/developer to work at a gas station even, only to be told by most places paying minimum wage that I am over qualified and wouldn't be in their best interest to hire, because as soon as I found a web job, I would leave (and they are probably right considering I can make 4-5 times more in my field).

So with your donation, I would pay some of my bills, I would use some of it to pay for the meds I need but can't afford, and to see the doctors that I should have seen months ago but can't afford. I would pay some rent to prevent eviction, and on my car to prevent reposession, and I would buy my child the xbox one I have been promising him since his birthday that I had hoped by now I would have found employment to have already purchased...

Anyways that's my sob story for the past 8 months. 100 btc would certainly save the day. Or at least take the stress off of an overly stressed, unemployed, non-healing single parent.

I may stop being EvilDave and change my handle to FriendlyDave.

maybe.....

If this is legit, split the 100 BTC up into smaller amounts and spread it around a bit more: 10 people getting 10 BTC will increase the amount of happy in the world much more than one guy with 100....even if that guy is me.

That is a very nice give away.

First of all I would use around 10 BTC to pay back some debts and such things.

Then the rest I might spend it on a nice trip with some friends to Norway which is such an beautifull country to see, or maybe America.

And what I have some leftover I would spend it on some NXT or Qora Tongue and give some away.

Anyway good luck to the winner!

EDIT: I will throw in a picture of my face when I find out I got the 100 BTC.
