.29BTC (last bid)
I'm overbidding with +5%.
105% of .29 is .3045. and 5% over that is ~.3197 and that is more then I can confidentially say I can over a 6 month period.

I guess it is yours assuming he accepts your bid and no one outbids you.

I'll take dicebitcoin's original bid of BTC.31 on the assumption that the ad is relatively small and because I still feel indebted to dooglus.

I thought size matters.

The above 5 posts literally happen everytime someone is auctioning off something good. I mean, literally everytime. When will people learn to use the 15-minute rule?

I was worried about having to stay up late (heading to bed after this post). I think next time, I'll have a minimum bid amount scheduled by time. If auction period is a week, the minimum bid for day one might be BTC.1, BTC.2 on day two, BTC.3 on day three, etc. up to BTC.7 -- so there could be a "bidding war" on day one where the bids go to .15BTC, and that could be the valid highest bid until day 7, and if someone wants to bid on day seven, they can only bid if their offer is >BTC.7 (otherwise, it goes to the guy who bid .15BTC).

-Or maybe I just won't be an idiot and set a time where I don't have to worry about staying up late. Grin

*A minimum of 30 posts per month is guaranteed. Any month where 30 posts are not made, each post not made under 30 will be counted as a penalty equal to 1/200 of winning bid from this auction. (e.g. if I make only 20 posts in, say, September, and the winning bid was 2BTC, I'd pay ((2/200)*10); .1BTC) -- Averaging my stats out, I make ~112 posts per month, but this isn't guaranteed. ETA: I'll keep track of how many posts I make per month in this thread for you.
I'll be "liberally interpreting" these rules to fit the current situation which was unanticipated and not properly accounted for in the vague contract (and I handled escrow?!).

Since I've made ~200 posts since the beginning of this contract (while only obligated to make 30/mo), I will be counting each day since the beginning of this contract as fulfilled days even though it doesn't equal an entire month. The number of days between now and the contract's end date, February 26th, 2015, is 169 (including the end date). Using the above scheme, I will thus count these as days where I did not make a post (treating days as valid parts of a month, and that a "month" of the contract can legally be subdivided) and will be removing my DiceBitco.in signature, resulting in the return of .31*(200/169), or BTC0.26195. These coins will be sent to Dicebitco.in's known cold wallet address, 19tQNCrmaW6EADfJrtBaRixRkPyVrvb6yk in 24-48 hours unless I'm properly convinced to do otherwise.

As of now, though, I do consider myself to be free of the contract.
