There is no such thing as karma, just random chance, though that's not to say good deeds or actions can't benefit you as they can (and also the opposite with bad deeds and negative consequences), but there is no divine or cosmic force that dishes out 'karma'.

I don't think that you are talking about karma here. This is basic christian teaching, and also teaching in many other religions, that we should love and help others and for our good deeds we will receive reward in other world but also we will be blessed in this world. Karma, as I understand, means that we are passing through different lives and our ultimate goal is to achieve special spiritual ''awareness- Nirvana'' and unite with ultimate reality by living according to certain rules.

I don't really believe in it.
Like to think that good people get rewarded for their kindness but it seems like it's always the bad guys that win.
For sure bad guys get rewarded in this corrupted system

You shouldn't have to believe in anything to "pay it forward".
Doesn't it make you feel good once in while to help someone out for no reason other than to be a nice person? I don't have a lot of cash to give out usually but it doesn't have to be money you give them, hold a door open, talk to someone new, listen to them. Pay for someones meal behind you at drive through, just do some random nice things it makes you feel pretty good, you don't need to have "karma" coming your way

I think it doesn't exist as a binding concept, i.e. it works that way and there's no way of avoiding it. But the basic principle is a highly interesting one. If more people adhered to it (as some kind of behavioural rules) it could really improve the world.

It is a very romantic view that something bad happens due to person/s eventually it will come about full circle and they will be at the receiving end. Oh so very nice to believe which more people did

I believe in these things. It would be great if there was some higher power judging our deeds. One should have hope that bad ones won't go unpunished just like he should have hope that his energy or soul as people call it will survive after his death.

In order to do what seems good to you you have to create a feeling of good inside. Knowing whats objectively good is impossible it seems.

The word "Karma" is a Sanskrit one of the oldest language ,The word simply means deeds/actions doesn't good or bad. Its simple logic, If you are good and nice to me I'll be same for you or If I'm good and nice to you then you should be same, I believe in that. But if someone breaks the cycle he/she should be punished.

there are effects in your acts. If you screw someone, the screwed will be pissed off and will wish you get screwed too, if people see you doing bad things, they will close contact with you and you will end up in a bad situation.
Karma can be the effects of your actions beyond the relations you can grasp, but without any mystical force that wishes everything is balanced.
Sometimes people do bad things and just get away with that with no consequences.

How does this concept relate to bitcoin scammers like Karpeles, Brewster or BFL?

How does this concept relate to bitcoin scammers like Karpeles, Brewster or BFL? Maybe one day they'll wake up and start making a list of all the people they've scammed. They could group up and travel the world and reimburse everyone. And every single customers who got scammed has some background story that's being told. A great premise for a TV Series... I think I'm going to call it "My Name is Mark"

So karma doesn't exist, just consequences you may or may not suffer

Randomness does not exist. Everything is interconnected. To imply randomness is to imply you can walk across a beach without moving each grain of sand to a new location thereafter. To imply randomness is to imply unintelligence. As intelligent beings, we create the world. Every action ripples throughout the universe and the reaction of each action is felt within you. Spread love to others and you will feel peace within yourself. Spread hate and you will feel the same. Even if you cannot see the energy or matter between us, we are all connected.

I suppose it can happen in ways you never can really know.
Like if you give a dollar to someone and maybe cheer them up right before they are about to lose their mind and attack someone - we have no way of knowing what will happen next.
I try to be a positive influence in my immediate environment but it is hard sometimes, when the world is so competitive.
