Hello.I have followed everystep from this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=702653.0
I have a router connected to another router which I am using only as a switch.
the main router is 192.168.1.3, the switch is 192.168.1.1

Steps I followed:
1.I have connected the antminers to the switch router witch is 192.168.1.1
2.I go to the main router with my laptop and go connect to the antminer with 192.168.1.99
3.I change the WAN to DHCP, it gives the antminer another IP, 192.168.1.100
4.I connect again to 192.168.1.100
5.I go to status>miner configuration, i enter btcguil adress http://eu-stratum.btcguild.com:3333, then i enter workers name, i click save&apply
6. I go to "Miner Status" to check if the miner has started mining, it will not start !

what am I missing here?Please help !

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Just troubleshoot it step by step and corner the culprit.
Enter the second router ip as the default gateway in S3.  Also remove all current DNS entries and set DNS to 4.2.2.2 and add another DNS entry 8.8.8.8 .
Check whether you can ping the antminer from the Diagnostic page. Report back the result of ping.
Also post the images of WAN page of your antminer S3 and WAN/Internet status/Lan pages of your both routers/switch.
Further troubleshooting can be done after that.

Ok. Always allow the miner to resolve the ips and connect to the pool before posting it as not working.
