I just wander why people have so freaking out. First rule do not invest more that you can't afford to loose.

beside, i know so many coins that dev was not active much more than dev of this coin and coins are still alive and create outstanding achievement.
I'mcoming back always to blackcoin, whatever people will say, that coin change everything in altcoins world and thanks to bc we have now army of pow/pos coins.
Blackcoin have very similiar start as this one. we just need to create atmosphere that will lead to support and not otherwise.

This seems to match up with what the developer said here:

I'm not dumping anything. I am still holding 37299.99989 MWC that are left from 50k premine after I payed bounties and donated to the faucet. I will use remaining coins for more bounties and for the tipbot

It appears the dev still has a wallet with 34999.99987 MWC left from the premine.  

This does not prove anything, but it sure is a good sign.  I hope the dev responds so we can stop speculating.

fully agred. it can be the best dev in planet and be here every single minute but without support from community it cant do anyhing. fuders here obviously missed the point, and our task if to not let this happend as supporters. if dev by any case doesnt want to continue with development,wich i doubt, we can with his permission find another active dev who willl continue active development and fullfilled roadmap and other improvements/inovations.

Thats only the about the cost of mining.  I doubt if he made any profit on that price.
