Quietcoin introduces QuietTime(TM) Mixing Service--this random hash origination system fully extends the Cloakcoin architecture by providing randomly generated origination addresses and spoofing services across the network. This exciting feature will allow for the user to send a payment across the network and the receiving party collect the coins without a traceable back path to the originator. The network will randomly create multiple input and output paths for coins, mix them between the various addresses and recombine them, effectively reducing any chance of the origination addresses from being easily located in the blockchain. QuietTime spoofing only applies to sent payments and will be available in the 2.0 release coming fourth quarter, 2014.

Also coming in forth quarter: QuietPlace(TM) In-wallet trading window with anonymous transactions. Backend work on this in deep in progress and will feature a decentralized way to exchange coins over using TOR and QuietTime.

QuietTime Mixing Regeneis Protocol
 A bit more in-depth look at the QuietTime protocol.
 Quietcoin’s QuietTime mixing maintains a separate layer in the block chain similar to Florincoin’s Transaction Messaging, but its an encrypted layer and generates random but valid addresses whenever the wallet is running.
 
When a user initiates a transfer using QuietTime (which is not mandatory, normal transactions can easily be sent through the network), the transaction goes through a process of “re-genesis.” In its simplest form, this re-genesis creates a transaction that appears to the network to have been mined rather than sent. The QuietTime mixing system breaks the original transaction in to multiple pieces and then combines those parts in to a re-genesis transaction which will arrive in the recipients wallet via genesis rather than acceptance.
 Thus, there are three methods of transferring coins via Quietcoin, normal transacactions, minting via proof of stake/proof of work, or re-genesis.
 
User 1 : initiates re-genesis transaction
 
QuietTime generates multiple output valid addresses and sends transaction in to these outputs, wallet records the outputs.
QuietTime dissolves these transactions back in to the main block chain, seen as “fees” by normal minting process.
QuietTime then creates a minted re-genesis block which appears in the recipients wallet as “minted” and not received. There is no distinguishing transactions left as the minted block doesn’t retain any of the originating transaction inputs.

Quietcoin introduces SlientMajority(TM) difficulty adjustment algorithm. Available from launch, this ASIC resistant, progressive difficulty targeting system is designed to allow a fair distribution of the coin and network capacity. SilentMajority retargets every 3 blocks using a 60 block regressive averaging period with unlimited maximum adjustment to meet the two minute block targets of Quietcoin.

Well it seems that the nodes went up before the actual launch and most of the blocks were mined at minerpools.com. With yesterday's source (which didn't work and I honestly thought it was going to be replaced).

So dev, most of those blocks were mined at minerpools by some early (too early) miners.

What do you suggest we do? I thought (and everyone else did) that you'd be releasing a new source today.

For the record, I inadvertently mined 20 of the 600 blocks in question because I started my miner early knowing that I'd be at work all day & would not be around for the launch. I had no idea that was going to happen, it just did.

nothing was transferred or moved just POS

if you look in the block explorer it will tell you what kind of block it is

Why is nobody mining your coin? Hashrate is 0 since weeks, you don't even mine the coin yourself?

unless otherwise proven, this coin is dead before it really started when nobody mines it!

Sorry for the quietness but in talks right now with the new addition to the team who is going to bring alot to the table ... we are in final talks now so should be released in the next few days hes a very prominent dev in the community with some unique features that he is bringing to quietcoin.
