I will offer 1.5BTC for this bar...Obviously you have a new account so escrow is a must, or you send first.  You can view my sales history here and see sending first to me is quite common.

Thanks for your offer, but for 1.5BTC I'd rather keep it.
What escrow services are available?

I bought the bar itself for around £3,500. I then loaded 1BTC into it. So typically, I'm looking to either break even or make a little profit on it. But from looking at your offer, it seems too much for you - haha.

I assume that was a typo or I googled it wrong...

£3,500 = $5890.57 Huh  Please tell me you did not pay $5000 for a storage bar?

Yeah I know, it's hard to believe. It's a collectors item so hopefully it has more value later on.

Oh boy, didn't you do any research at all? Or did you thought this was 99.99% gold bar?

This spot for rent.

That would have been about the right price if it was...  The bar weighs 118g which is about $5k in gold today.

Na, I knew it wasn't 99.99% gold. I just thought it would be a lot more rare which would result in the value going up in the future - guess not.

That 1 Bitcoin you loaded into it could well be worth more than you paid for the bar in £ someday soon.  Buy some more BTC and load it up and use it for what it was made for... a savings bar!!!

Agreed...I have several of these bars already.  I was selling them for 1BTC each a while back..just keep it and use it.  I really doubt anyone would pay anything close to that.

Yeah, you're right. I'll just keep it and see if anything happens in the future with it. Who knows, it might go for a fortune someday Wink
