well, that way I support Cibalia

when choosing from Premier leagues, it was Zrinjski

I had to google both of those names lol. I have never heard of either of those 2 teams. Cheesy

yeah I know Cheesy

Cibalia is currently in 2nd Division

we fell out 2 years ago, I'm a loyal fan though, and I appreciate the people who still come to watch the games

Zrinjski Mostar is a Croatian club and the champion of Bosnia&Herzegovina, not famous though hehe

Perhaps you heard of Dinamo Zagreb or Hajduk?

Luka Modrić played in Zrinjski and Dinamo Wink

Of course I heard of Hadjuk Split and Dinamo Zagreb. I sincerely hope Dinamo Zagreb goes bankrupt though after they allowed Olympique Lyon to beat them 1-7 on their own pitch in the champions league a few years back making sure Ajax did not go through on goal difference. I'm not saying they were bribed (although they might) but they obviously didn't give a fuck.

I share your thoughts on Dinamo, I dislike them, I preferr Hajduk over
started disliking them when they sold Modrić,Ćorluka,Eduardo da Silva, Vukojević etc.
their boss is a shithead and refuses to leave altough the fans are boycotting the games because of him for over a year

Quote
Anyway, how does a Croation club become the champion of Bosnia&Herzegovina?

because there are Croatian clubs in Bosnia&Herzegovina Cheesy

since there are 3 nations in Bosnia&Herzegovina, Croats,Serbs and Bosniaks

the cities aren't that mixed if that's what you think when hearing about this, there are exact areas where Serbs are 90%, where Croats are 90% and etc. [so they are differianted by Croatian,Serbian and Muslim clubs]

So Zrinjski Mostar is from the West Side of Mostar [Croatian side]

you can see the Croatian coat of arms in their coat of arms Smiley

the logo literally says Croatian sports club Zrinjski Mostar

the East Side of Mostar [the Bosniak side] is Velež

Široki Brijeg was 2nd in the BiH Premier league and was qualifying for the UEFA cup

Sarajevo [capital, Muslim club] was 3rd

no national colors in the "Bosniak" clubs since there were no Bosniaks in the time the clubs were created, so here's a usual redish commie coat of arms here

Borac, Serbian club from Banja Luka was 6th

you can also see Serbian colors in their coat of arms

hope you understand the situation now

Looking for a signature campaign.

Born and bred LFC all the way, just look at my user ID.

Had an awesome season last year, and looking forward this one. We struck gold in getting Rodgers, and this makes me very optimistic.

Okay so it's actually a club in the nation of Bosnia Herzegovina. Of course the people are mostly of Croatian decent but still the club is Bosnian as the countries are layed out now Wink

I actually traveled the region quite a lot, but no-one ever wants to talk national football as they all say it sucks. Well except in Belgrade Tongue

I've visited Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia (but Croatia only a one week stay in Istria because all the other former Yugoslavic countries are cheaper). And oh yeah, I went a few hundred meters into Kosovo during my stay in Mount Kopaonik Serbia but all the Serbs there don't see it as a separate country. Same goes for Montenegro btw, almost everyone there says it's part of Serbia but the UN fucked them over.

Maybe they should try to revive Tito. I'm hardly a fan of socialism (and that's an understatement) but he did manage to unite so many different people in one nation without incident for so long. I could be completely wrong on that though and the whole relation is probably permanently broken after the 1990s. I met some 18-year-olds on Belgrade who gave me a night tour after some beers showing all the still broken buildings from the war over 2 decades ago (still unfixed) and it was clear the whole thing was pretty deep in the new generation as well (although the Serbs mostly blame the UN and the US). Also, when having beer with Croats the always brag about being the true Yugoslavic people and all the languages being derived from theirs. When talking to people from other regions they always call the Croats "fucking arrogant" Tongue

Quote
Well except in Belgrade Tongue

they're quite pride of Crvena Zvezda and Partizan altough they currently don't really achieve anything

while we hate our clubs altough they perform better Cheesy

Quote
all say it sucks.

it does suck Smiley

but I love my Cibalia and I'll keep rooting for it even in the 2nd division

I still remember the days when we beat Dinamo 2:0 and end 3rd in 1st division

I have signatures of every player from the team in my droor

I think Istria is the most expensive one.. Dubrovnik is a lot better..

Quote
all the Serbs there don't see it as a separate country. Same goes for Montenegro btw

of course they don't, Kosovo was a part of Serbia since its start, there is 97% Albanian population there and as a sort of punishment for aggressivly taking down the Albanian rebellion they got independence
it wasn't the first time, even in Yugoslavia the Albanians rebelled, my father [Croat] was also sent to take down the rebellion in Kosovo in former Yugoslavia

About Montenegro, you'll only hear that from the Serbs of course
And for Kosovo

Of course the Serbs think that, however Serbia and Montenegro split peacefully, so you can see that it was their own will [Montenegros] to go

Quote
ut the UN fucked them over.

welcome to the club! Cheesy

UN abolished the Croatian Republic of Herzeg Bosnia, the Croatian entity that was fair in every way

They gave an entity to the Serbs and a Federation of Bosniaks&Croats, however smartasses decided to let Bosniaks pick Croatian representatives so today we see a Komšić representing Croats with literally 0% votes from Croatian parts of BiH [Bosniaks picked him], they used tanks [literally] to take down the Herzegovian bank, when we opened our TV station they took it down and used our expensive equipment for the centrilized FTV in Sarajevo, the tax is even worse, by recent calculations, Široki Brijeg is one of the richest mostly Croat cities there and it payed over 100 000 000 in taxes and only 5 000 000 was returned
That's how Bosnia&Herzegovina works, the Serbs got their entity, Serbian Republic
But in the Federation Croats constantly get overvoted by the Bosniaks

In 1991. there was 760 582 Croats
Today there is 500 000

That's a decline of 35% in 20 years

There was 43% Bosniaks and now they're over 50% in the whole country

Quote
Maybe they should try to revive Tito.

are you crazy?

the guy is in the TOP 10 worlds massive murderers by Bild, they claim he's responsible for over a million deaths

You've been spending too much time with the Serbs, no other country [except the Serbs in it] wants to rejoin any union with Serbs
the liberation was built with blood, and neither Bosniaks,Croats or Slovens would ever want to rejoin such a union

Quote
but he did manage to unite so many different people in one nation without incident for so long

because he killed everyone opposing him

and those murders were done after the war, not during

go here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allied_war_crimes_during_World_War_II

scroll down to Yugoslavia

that's only a fraction, they had hundreds of camps
they killed germans only for being germans, not soldiers, folkdetschers, old people,children..
they would kill you just if your neighbour was an Ustasha, I have a lot of stories about this

And yes, they had concentration camps
Gakovo [8500 people dead] ,Knićanin [13 000 people dead],Krndija [1500 people dead]..
it's just not that much talked about, it's slipped under the rug

They killed 45 000 people just on Bleiburg, 13 000 Barbarin rov...

There's a lot more Jazovka,Zrin, slaughter of 210 patients from a hospital Brestovac, liting 11 priests on fire in Herzegovina

And all of these crimes were done when the war ended

I'm still surprised how no one addresses these crimes, I haven't found any crimes they did that someone was punished for
No prosecutions is all you get

A local friend of mine found his grandfather on the JUSP list [people killed in Jasenovac] altough he was killed by Partisans and not even close that area
Yugoslav propaganda is still here, someone wants us to get together, but it's impossible, it might only create more blood, after all the crimes the Serbs did no nation will want to rejoin the union, even if there weren't any, why would we like to become their bitches again and pay taxes so they build stuff on our work?

Bosnia&Herzegovina is a small version of Yugoslavia, it is only time until it falls apart, Dodik will use the first opportunity to rejoin Serbia and when that happens Federation will fall apart too

Quote
(although the Serbs mostly blame the UN and the US)

we do too, the Russian NATO members drank coffee with the Serbs, they blocked us from regaining our territory, they did not allow us to go for Banja Luka, the UN is the reason Croatia has the smallest borders in its independent history

Quote
Also, when having beer with Croats the always brag about being the true Yugoslavic people and all the languages being derived from theirs.

Istrian cunts Cheesy

Istria was occupied by Yugoslavia, that's why they like it so much, only eastern Istria was ever part of Croatia, the Western part not really
I would really preferr to see Herzegovina, Bosnian Posavina etc. parts that were in Croatia since the 7th century a part of our republic then that

A true Croat with no partisan descent would never say to be "true yugoslavic people", if you didn't know Jugoslavija [Jugo means South and slavija is of course Slavia], Tito had to be high or something when he decided to form a country depending on the sides of the world

Oh look, we're south, we must create a country with South in its name Cheesy
If there was a union of all Slavs, I wouldn't mind

But having South Slavia is nearly retarded

Quote
all the languages being derived from theirs

the guy you're talking about sounds like a typical Serb claiming everyone derived from them, you can google some of their historians
there's one that claims that Serbs discovered America, germans are 70% Serbs, Jesus spoke Serbian, Jovan Deretić is his name

well, technically speaking if you belive the "slavic theory" of one language, Bosnia is first mentioned in 1300., Croats are mentioned for the first time in 888. while Serbs are mentioned for the first time in 15th century [used serbian google for the last one]

Quote
When talking to people from other regions they always call the Croats "fucking arrogant" Tongue

that's because you've been in the Serbian part of Kosovo and perhaps Serbian part of Bosnia&Herzegovina
those people are usually former Partisans or Serbs Wink

Ask a Bosniak, not a Serb from Bosnia, a Bosniak or a Croat what he thinks of Serbia Wink
when you're in the company of Serbs it's really hard to get to talk to anyone that's not a partisan or a chetnik [no offense, it's unfortunately just how things stand]

Quote
who gave me a night tour after some beers showing all the still broken buildings from the war over 2 decades ago (still unfixed) and it was clear the whole thing was pretty deep in the new generation as well

for them?

so many lies..

the war was led on our soil, there wasn't a single bullet fired on Serbian territory, Belgrade was once bombarded by NATO when they attacked Kosovo, only once [so not in the war]

there was in avarage 80 shells fired every day at the hospital in Vukovar altough it had a red cross sign in front of it

all the damage done is here,  which for reperations were never paid

my shed still has bullet holes in it,my father still has a bullet in his leg, my friends father is a cripple and they're telling you about broken buildings and how things are deep?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uqxe4qntYXQ

That's damage my friend, it was estimated on 236.431.568.000 HRK, 42 219 922 857$
that's more then the whole debt Croatia has currently

The guy I talked to was a Croat from Dubrovnik originally but studying in Zagreb I believe. We didn't speak in Croatia, I met him somewhere in Asia while traveling.

Further I know the opinions are tainted, that's why I tried to include sources as much as possible and also admitted to not know much about Tito (there are big monuments in his honor in Slovenia as well and yes I know Slovenia was done with the war very very quickly).

Well I do know for a fact Novi Sad was bombed as well. There's a big plaque next to the bridge to the caste.

Anyway, I just love the whole former Yugoslavic region. It looks amazing, the weather is nice, hiking is great and the food is amazing. When the conversation is brought to this most people I spoke to will agree even when I specifically mention regions which are part of the sections "their" section fought against in the war.

yes, there are some monuments here too, but as time goes by the talk about lustration comes closer with high support

Quote
Well I do know for a fact Novi Sad was bombed as well. There's a big plaque next to the bridge to the caste.

in 1999., not in the war

that's also done by NATO because of their aggression on Kosovo

the little damage they got was all for Kosovo, no one helped us during the war, especially not NATO  Undecided

The Yugoslavian army was stationed in Belgrade so Serbia had all the army [and YNA was the 3rd strongest army in Europe]

while I know for a fact we didin't have any tanks, airplanes or rifles
So we used agricultural planes and threw gas cylinders instead of bombs on enemy locations, used hunting rifles and the only force to stand up was the police, later on we gathered an army and liberated the area, the beginning was really intense

it's interesting to see that 90 000 well armed, well fed, fresh people were sieging Vukovar and 2000 Croats with low ammo, weapons, food, water defended it
Serbs thought they'll take the city in 2 days
Croats thought they'll take it in 7 days

2000 defenders held the city for over 80 days

Jean-Michel Nicolier a french man who died in Vukovar also became a hero Smiley

Sorry if I'm boring you Cheesy

Well there was Serbia & Montenegro for quite a few years (that was what I was referring to).

Anyway, I hope peace it kept. I really have no preference how the land is developed between nations as long as I can freely and safely travel. Before I visited south Serbia (Kopaonik) to go hiking I found myself reading official documents by the UN about whether the landmines and cluster bombs were properly cleaned up. Appearently Albania is still a country to be avoided because of this (and apparently also because the country is too corrupt to be safe but again, that is mainly based on the opinion of locals of Serbian decent). Such a shame that was necessary Sad

it's normal to have an and when 2 countries join together Cheesy
I doubt Montenegro would like to live in a country called Serbia Smiley

well, the only switch now could be Bosnia&Herzegovina, but it's going to be a couple of dozen years until that happens

we're infected with landmines heavily
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minefields_in_Croatia

637.9 square kilometres ..

I have multiple landmined territories very near my house, hope the EU will finance the removal, it's been going really slowly  Undecided

btw, if price is your consern, visit the shore in montenegro, the prices are really good as I hear Wink
