Note that at the moment new blocks are coming very slow. Please run your wallets with VAULT in them for staking so the new blocks are generated! Only this will secure the network.

Had to restart it a few times but now in Sync and Staking!

staking itself is working, but rewards are not implemented yet.

We are working on wallet update where staking will have rewards.

Re ETA on new wallet is not clear yet as our main focus at the moment is on securing the network.

Hey everyone.

I'm happy a lot of people are still interested in doing a community takeover of the coin, and are willing to donate to the good cause.
I have been in talks with AlexformPr, nxthing, dorkfromfl and rentodev about getting a group running. CryptoDustin will be doing community and social media together with me.
This is all very much a startup situation, but the following things have been established:

• We have secured several copies of the vaultcoin-project/vaultcoin/master branch. My copy can be found here.
• Several of us have the wallets running locally with enough VAULT staking to secure the blockchain. Withdrawals and deposits from and to Bittrex and others are working.
  Currently the blockchain is a bit slow sometimes, resulting from not enough people with wallets staking.
• I have talked to bittrex-richie, and we have their support for the takeover granted the original dev allows it/doesn't interfere.
• I have sent user entervault (OP) several messages about this takeover that he is not responding to.
• A donation address has been setup for the takeover team, VPaUAJno9Q1JSipKZ1r3LZqjr3GZySPe5p. I have started with a donation of 2.5 VAULT. It can be found here. If you want to support the devs, please donate here.

So, from here on:

This can be considered 48 hours notice for user entervault to respond and disallow the takeover. If in this time he does not respond, we will start a new thread with an updated ANN and from there on will notify all exchanges to switch to the new github wallet repo.

The first things to be done once the Community takeover is started, will be for us to switch all exchanges to the new repo.
After this, we will implement PoS with non-zero rewards. The current block explorer is working fine, they will also switch to the new repo.
From there, we will bring more updates.

What we need from you, the community:

• Don't listen to all the FUD that's been going on in this topic. They are weak attempts at messing with people.
• Download the current wallets, transfer some VAULT into it, and start helping -staking- us with securing the blockchain.

I'll send some VAULT too if it ever gets to my wallet:  I've transferred my VAULT back from Bittrex to my own wallet but after nearly 6 hours there is still no sign of it in my wallet.  The address is correct and the withdrawal is marked as completed on Bittrex.  I have noticed that my wallet is out of sync and is not showing any change in the number of blocks since the time I sent my coins.  Is the blockchain stuck at the moment?

yes, blockchain is sometimes very slow. Hope it will improve in coming days with more nodes staking.

yes, blockchain is sometimes very slow. Hope it will improve in coming days with more nodes staking.

Don't worry. Sometimes the nodes don't pick up all the transactions. Give it a few blocks, and you should be getting your coins in wallet.
You should be on block 6879 as well then right?

My wallet is showing 6878 blocks.
