Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

what ever happened with this one?  i mined a tiny bit, then gave up due to absolutely no updates... it never even made it to a decent exchange, so it doesn't appear to be in the "dev dumped his stash" category... just left to wither, i guess?  would love to get rid of mine, somehow...
