The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Dunno, but I suspect in a few years we will never hear from those people again and even if asked, they will deny have ever posting there.

It's a joke, and their website got bought out by butterfly labs because they had some negative review of a BFL miner.

I don't think they actually hate on bitcoin there, it's just a place to rip on current events. Anyone with enough time to learn about Bitcoin and keep up with current events is probably just ripping on the current events like John Stewart does. Mockery is not so bad.

yeah i remember he ended up selling the domain name for something cheap.. it turned out to be much, much more valuable than he paid. so he kinda lost money for trolling.

i think making fun of bitcoin has just become a hobby.. he's just doing it for entertainment value. or maybe he hates bitcoin that way. i know a lot of people who don't think bitcoin will work.

It's actually a funny read. He got tricked by BFL and sold the domain but I think he got an ok amount.

tl;dr-
"The next day we noticed that our most popular article on the entire site, the "The $22,484.00 Butterfly Labs Mini Rig bitcoin miner is a huge, broken, unstable piece of shit." had been edited and now read The Butterfly Labs Mini Rig is a sexy Bitcoin mining machine. "

It's a mixture of 3 types of people:

Some good satire (look up killhamsters drawings they are hilarious)

Just the usual trolls.

People who dismissed Bitcoin when they found out and now need to deal with their mistake. (For that buttcoin startet on Something Awful when Bitcoin was worth cents.  Just imagine how those guys must feel now)

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

WTF! I been jacking off to that pic for a while now, always assuming that that was Hannah's ass with the large butterfly below. Now I'm seeing sacks. This is fucked up on so many levels.

Who knows, I can't understand what goes into someone who spends all day hating something.  I don't like Justin Beiber, so I create hate sub-reddits or go on the Beiber forums and tell everyone how much I hate him?  No, my time is much too precious to waste time and energy on an anti-anything campaign.
