OKcoin international account: problem with SMS verification

Is there anyone here from the US who has set up an international account at OKcoin? I've set one up and have successfully verified my email and personal information. I've also successfully set up google auth. However, when I try to do the SMS verification step, at the point where I expect to get a text message from OKcoin, it never shows up. I logged a support ticket yesterday but have yet to receive an answer. So:

1. Has anyone in the US set up an account successfully?

2. Is anyone having the same problem I'm having with SMS verification?
