I've always wondered what businesses would benefit Bitcoin hugely. We have a few websites which offer to buy from any website for example which have helped Bitcoin massively. but what other businesses are needed which are non existent in the Bitcoin world?

Competent payment processors.  Coinbase is a joke, and has ripped off a handful of people to get its self started.  Not sure how bitstamp is doing over there, but they seem to have their act together.

All sorts of businesses....Bitcoin is a currency and currencies should be used everywhere.

If you're asking which ones would benefit Bitcoin more than others I would say the online retailers & sales directories such as ebay.

if your talking about website stores, then id say any/all...

if your talking bricks and mortar stores:
grocery stores, to buy your loaf of bread, baked beans and toilet roll
hardware/DIY stores, wood nails and varnish
car fuel stations

the the ultimate bitcoin infrastructure maker would be to get these businesses to hav their suppliers accept bitcoin, thus making it no longer a 'gimmick' to simply accept btc and instantly convert to bitcoin. but instead hoard bitcoin and use bitcoin to restock products and pay staff in bitcoin.

The few transactions that I've received through Coinpayments.net seemed to go all right. Has anyone here tried using the Mycellium wallet?

And I figure what we really need right now is to get some wholesalers like AHI Distribution and Cutting Edge Products on board so we've got one more step in the supply chain taken care of. Maybe they'll start noticing when they start getting lots of emails from people who can sell stuff either on their own ecommerce sites or on the Bitcoin marketplaces.

commodity and future contracts with BTC are provided. The services should be reliable and accountable. It will stabilise the price of btc. In the other hand, companies which accept btc payment could hoard btc and use BTC future contract to eliminate the falling price risk. If the price is increasing, the companies could make a lot more return.

As dumb as it sounds, i think BTC would benefit from a department store like Nordstroms starting to accept BTC. It would get an entire different group of people and a lot of women using cryptos

The largest potential for profit right now is payment processors such as coinbase and bitpay.

Next in line for large grow would be auction and retail type web store offering products for bitcoin.

Bitcoin needs any and all businesses, not just huge or large retailers. If we want it to suceed as a currency we need to be able to spend it on as many things as possible from groceries to porn and everything in between.

I imagine vending machines would be the next logical step. Imagine about to catch the metro and you feel like a ice cold pepsi, just press a button and scan the QR code. Surely this is already happening, maybe in advanced places like Japan?

I agree with the people saying 'any and all'. I want to be able to spend my coins both online and on the highstreet. Vending machines would be a good idea and I'm sure they will take off in the future. Paying with a smartphone would probably be a quick and easy process.

All we need to major retail chains accept bitcoin payments. Amazon for starters, then all hardware online stores out there - thats for the starters. If others see that this is good business avalanche will start and bitcoin will be everywhere...

I completely agree that grocery stores would be great. It makes bitcoin spendable in a market that we all need to use in order to survive...food. I rarely spend bitcoins, but if my grocery store accepted Bitcoins I would definitely use them (and buy more to replenish supply of course), especially if they offered a discount since they would save money by not having to pay credit processor fees and reduced fraud risk.

I also think that the biggest and most impactful "market" would be suppliers, if the people that supply the physical stores accepted bitcoins, then the stores could accept bitcoins, keep a large percentage of the bitcoins as actual bitcoins (instead of instantly converting it to cash) and then pay their suppliers in bitcoin. Their suppliers can then pay their workers in bitcoin, the workers can then use their bitcoin in stores and the "wheels go round and round" creating a full bitcoin economy.

Or one could argue that buying oil with "massively inflated usd" is actually better than using your "forever increasing value of a deflationary bitcoin". Bitcoin needs to be able to be used for purchases (which it now can at a small selection of major retailers), but to become a true economy we need suppliers to accept it and for retailers to offer it to their employees as their bonus or percentage of their income (props to overstock on this part).

Create the entire market loop and bitcoin adoption will be unbelievably rapid.

When we consider in terms of online stores, Bitcoin can be adopted by any shops. Any shops will help. But if you consider in terms of shops in places, it is best if grocery store and other shops where people go frequently.

Any, but I want to see is small discounts for paying with bitcoin. As it is now, I will still use credit cards wherever I can for the 1%-5% cash back. Given the low transaction fees, irreversability, and lack of account fraud, a btc discount should be a no-brainer.

Bitcoin needs every possible business from good to bad. You should be able to buy food or drugs with it and anything else you desire.

More travel type of businesses. Currency exchange rates when traveling international are a rip off. Bit coin could make that easy and seamless. Popular destinations would probably see a lot more bit coin retailers popping up as well.
