According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Satoshi is not active since somewhere in 2010, I doubt he will comes back only to answer your topic.

There is some discussion about people's guesses about what Satoshi is thinking, just use forum search to find the topics
