You should suggest this to Stunna or doog. Trip to Vegas for like 3 days of having a casino.

The Golden gate and The D have accepted bitcoins As of this year, just as was at the D last week, the hotel and their restaurants accept BTC. The BAR and the games do not take BTC but they do have a RoboCoin ATM on site so it is not a huge issue.

WOW very interesting info.
I guess some people will be very interesting in this offer.
I find also interesting that hotel in Vegas first offered Bitcoin, it seems for them any currency is good currency Smiley

The world's biggest Bitcoin convention happens in Vegas this fall - October 5 -7.  Everything you ever wanted to know about the latest in Bitcoin will be happening there. http://insidebitcoins.com/las-vegas/.  Virtually everyone involved in bitcoin will be there.

If you book a room now, you'll only pay about $50 for a great suite at any major hotel on the strip.  The 'D' is downtown and a $15 taxi ride to the convention which was at the MGM last year.  Better to stay at the south end of the strip and walk.  Try NewYork, NewYork hotel, Monte Carlo, Luxor.  Those are cheap, cheap, cheap and close.

I am certain you won't want to miss the Vegas Bitcoin convention.  It sold out last year to everyone's surprise.  Next year it is sure to do the same - so better to book early.

You should suggest this to Stunna or doog. Trip to Vegas for like 3 days of having a casino.
I think there could be a big opportunity for casino operaters to incorporate bitcoin somehow. People could wager their bitcoin at the card table and the dealer could payout their chips back to their wallets. They could also make it "fair" in a similar way that BTC based casinos do to weed out the cheaters.

I would think if a casino starts accepting bitcoin, it will be to buy chips. Seems a lot simpler to implement. Is there a reason you'd like to see it the way you describe? Sorry I don't gamble so maybe I'm missing something here.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if a guy walked into a stripper bar and started tossing flashdrives with BTC on them at the strippers instead of dollars? I guess you could say he'd be "making it hail" instead of rain. lol

That is exactly what I am saying, a person could buy chips at a blackjack table for example and either the dealer or the cashier could convert the chips back to bitcoin. I am not saying that casinos need to be "fair" in the same way sites like PD3 are fair, but having bets work this way would prevent cheaters from cheating the system.

Sorry, I thought you meant that people would bet directly with their bitcoins. I didn't even know you could buy chips at the table; I thought you bought them from a nice lady in reception  Cheesy  I've never actually been in a casino (you may have guessed this by now).

I'm not sure how people cheat the system either, but would be interested if you can be bothered to explain.

Ha, wow, yeah I guess Bitcoin and Vegas do fit pretty well! I mean a payment system that can be used anonymously? A city full of 'sin', money, and adventures? It'll be interesting to see whether they'll adopt Bitcoin for gambling, as well. But I doubt that as of now...

It's cute that people still think that btc is anonymous.

I'll pass. Undecided Let me know when the Palazzo or Bellagio is accepting. Then I will rain bitcoins all over them! Never even heard of these places. I go to Vegas in style only. Cool

People cheat the system by inserting machines into slot machines that make the outcome less then random, they count cards and swap cards while playing blackjack and other card games. If all the games were random in the same way that PD or dicebitco is then every hand and every game would be 100% random.
