Unfortunately Novaexchange announced today they will shut down the exchange. What are the possibilities now?
Coingather still lists it. Nova will be trading for a few more months, although deposits will be disabled at the end of November. Looks like Cryptopia has canned it. No shit Sherlock I just wonder what was the purpose of the cage coin and what was developer thinking. Can you answer my question? Cheers Don't know for sure, since the original dev hasn't been active since 2014. Just a fun coin, I guess.

Looks like someone's coming in with a lot of hash power, then getting out once it goes too high. Maybe a multipool. With the rise in BTC value, more people are getting back into mining, so (at least from my POV) the potential daily profit has been steadily decreasing as competition increases. That may mean that someone who was happy to constantly mine CAGE a couple of months ago may have now switched to another more profitable coin, or may have ceased mining completely.

Looks like we may have a problem with forking. When restarting one of the seed nodes the heights of connecting peers are all over the place. I've labelled them in groups: "startingheight" : 1528322, (1) "startingheight" : 1530633, (2) "startingheight" : 1531057, (3) "startingheight" : 1531131, (4) "startingheight" : 1531132, (4) "startingheight" : 1575274, (5) "startingheight" : 1577760, (6) "startingheight" : 1578855, (7) "startingheight" : 1578855, (7) "startingheight" : 1578855, (7) "startingheight" : 1578952, (8) "startingheight" : 1579114, (9) "startingheight" : 1579122, (10) "startingheight" : 1579122, (10) "startingheight" : 1579179, (11) "startingheight" : 1579179, (11) "startingheight" : 1579179, (11) "startingheight" : 1579179, (11) "startingheight" : 1579179, (11) "startingheight" : 1579196, (12)
Normally after a restart these heights should be identical (or close to it). Currently, there appear to be 12 significantly different blockchain heights.

Further to my last message, the mess of heights seems to have resolved itself. The majority of clients are now agreeing on the same height: "startingheight" : 1530633, (1) "startingheight" : 1531268, (2) "startingheight" : 1578278, (3) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4) "startingheight" : 1579968, (4)

I follow you on twitter! Waiting for some great news!
Hey, great to hear you're getting excited about following an account that hasn't tweeted anything for nearly 4 years. If you're not a bot and you know a CAGE related twitter account besides @offcagecoin, let me know.

Who and where is dev ?
I helped resurrect it by changing the difficulty algorithm and releasing a new version, so I guess I'm the closest thing to a dev right now.

So I found this coin today XD and thought to have some fun but I don't understand why Aikapool is showing that the las block found is at 1577760 while current block is 1589063... Also, I haven't received any rewards yet, been mining for approx 5 hours now and also @ a hefty 504MH/s. Is there something wrong or am I just misunderstanding something? EDIT: In my smartphones it says that wallet is not synced in AikaPool also says that there are 0 workers... maybe it helps. T Tell me what port this coin has? The AikaPool port is: stratum.aikapool.com:7962

Everything was hanging on the block 1577760, but the new ones are somewhere in the canopy. Because it is clear that the new wither. Either on another bullet or solo, someone is hacking. Can you tell me how to set up a solo mining? 7962 - I know. What is the RPC port of the coin? I want to set up a solo mining.

As I understand I should pull away from this pool for now and look for another coin? I'm really sorry but I don't know much about solo mining because I have always done it in a pool somewhere. I mine with Antminer L3+ so solo mining for me is impossible anyways as far as I have researched. I once set up a litecoin solo mine for my gpu in 2014 but that was pretty easy because there were tons of tutorials for this popular coin.

To leave or not to leave is up to you. But with this pool, obviously something is not right. Try to find another pool of Cagecoin. I could not. Maybe you're lucky.
