Bitcoin: Baffling or brilliant?

http://rt.com/op-edge/179372-bitcoin-struggling-revolution-money/

Interesting article.
Bad money drives out good’ is the operative concept here. In other words, a lower quality (i.e. overvalued) currency will circulate in the economy while any higher quality money (say gold coins, which have not been debased) will be hoarded by savers.

Nice opinion piece. Most of the commentors are ignorant, though.

I enjoyed the article. Some good points, but why can't it be both baffling and brilliant? I guess it can be baffling at first or to the uneducated, but I know it is definitely brilliant that's for sure. A truly genius idea.

I guess it is baffling because it is brilliant.

I like the conclusion
Government must embrace bitcoin or die.

What's new? Most of the comments I see on non-bitcoin specific sites are full of ignoramuses.

Bafflingly brilliant. I like that term  Cheesy.

It's amazing how so many of these unwashed minds in terms of Bitcoins feel so high and mighty to make forecasts, predictions or otherwise on something they know little about. I suppose once they've read some FUD that becomes their research project and blinds them.
