Any activity or updates on Virtacoin? I have invested so much in it but haven't seen any real activity whatsoever (about development and improvements) on this thread. As far as it looks, I can see a very bright future for VTA as right now its marketcap has risen to becoming #98 in Coinmarketcap. Still, I'm going my stash of VTA daily with the hopes to see it sparkle someday in the future. Good luck! 

vtacoin is a shit coin, still cant be sold for 1 sat, even after about 6 years it is worth nothing. devs do not care about this coin and they never have.  dont waste your electric or computer time on it unless you like to see you have 1,000,000's coins, thats are worth nothing!

Well, there has been some movement in the price change of Virtacoin going up to $0.000035 since last time I checked yesterday. Also, it is now listed as #80 in market cap when you check out Coinmarketcap. Before that, it was much cheaper and its market cap ranking was lower than the one mentioned above. Still, it is not bad to hold a certain amount of Virtacoins on a wallet, as maybe someday it will revive in development and price would increase drastically. Then, it would have made some profit if this would have happened, but that cannot be predicted so all I could do now is to be patient.

I'm not really sure now that it has been really quiet around here, not to mention that there hasn't been any innovation around lately. But I can tell you that everything is working fine for my wallet as it syncs properly with no hassles at all. I'm running it on Windows 10 by the way. What exactly seems to be the problem? Perhaps I could help you with this.

You are doing nothing wrong.Something is not right with wallet.I have 100s of wallets that sync fine.This is the only wallet I have that doesnt sync.

Hmm. That is a little odd. Did you check if you have the required ports open in your router? Or did you check if firewall software installed in your computer allows connections to the Virtacoin client? I have synced the wallet today with no problems at all.

Hope this would help you sync your wallet. If none if this works, just go to your appdata directory and delete all files except the wallet.dat and try to start syncing again.

I mean this coin has a lot potential..too bad there isn't any development, otherwise I think that the price would have risen a lot by now. Still, I have over 10 million VTA on a paper wallet just in case it gets revived someday.

I guess you are right after not seeing active development for a long time (not to mention that price hasn't moved quite a lot). But still, I wouldn't be bad if I hold onto a couple of coins just in case. You'll never know when it could get revived someday.

ummm ... no, The coin will not evolve. How can the community improve the coin if it does not have the ability to edit the code of the coin itself (and no, twiging nodes in the wallet does not count).

You can count on my vote. Virtacoin hasn't had any new development or updates, but still I can see that the price is maintained stable over the past days. Sometimes, price goes a little up but then goes back to the way it was. I wonder what happened with the dev. Is this coin still maintained by someone else?
