Hey,

maybe of some you already noticed that there is a new algorithm coming up.

NeoScrypt: https://github.com/ghostlander/NeoScrypt

CPUMiner: https://github.com/ghostlander/cpuminer-neoscrypt/commit/10f957a3c1a527b24e6666f9bbf4214c135a11a3 (CPUminer fix - working with stratum now)
Source: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/14154-phoenixcoin-neoscrypt-mining-pool/page-2

Its developed by Ghostlander, he is an Core Feathercoin Developer and the Lead developer of Orbitcoin and Phoenixcoin.

So here is where your help is needed. We are looking for someone who is able to implement NeoScrypt into sg/cg/cudaminer.

Phoenixcoin going live with NeoScrypt in about 800~ blocks.

Bountys so far: 0.5BTC + 5.5M Ufocoins (UFO going NeoScrypt once Feathercoin goes live with it)
http://ufocoin.co/job/minimum-0-5-btc-plus-500k-ufo-bounty-for-development-of-an-neoscrypt-gpu-miner

Would be great if anyone could take on this task and help us.

Regards,
ChekaZ

Just curious, what so good about NeoScrypt? Isn't x11 just as good?

NeoScrypt is an improved version of Scrypt, its actually a new Algorithm not just hashing different algorithms a few times to get a "new" like x11.

Here is the NeoScrypt Whitepaper from Ghostlander: http://phoenixcoin.org/archive/neoscrypt_v1.pdf

Have to add that PhoenixCoin is already live with NeoScrypt so there is LiveNet to test the GPUminer.
