Why would you choose nvidia cards for mining, aren't they less efficient and more expensive than ati?
The Nvidia GTX 750ti is the new champion when it come for hash/watt and a good performer compared to a similar card, ie. 270 or 270X. All in a card that does under 60 watts Scrypt and 28~35 watts X11, even lower with some other algos.
ATI/AMD are just not as efficient as they use to be because mainly the prices of ALT's lately. Also, they are hash/watt ratio use to be good, ie. 280/7950 or 280x/7970. Now that ASIC are taking over Scrypt mining also and offer greater hash/watt.
As topic subject say ... im about to buy couple of those cards .. not sure which brand should i go .... i want to know which is better in terms of mining hashes / heat .. users comments
I like the MSI because of the twin fans that can spin at lower rpms for longer life and quietness.
