I have to say I'm pretty impressed with what she put together, in what seems to have been a pretty short amount of time. Clearly pretty comfortable in front of the camera.
Yeah she did an excellent job.

Even if you don't care about Reddit people should drop her a donation. We need Bitcoin to expand beyond miner computer nerds (no offense intended). She is about as far from a miner computer nerd as I can imagine. It will take 1000 people just like her in every aspect of commerce to move Bitcoin into the mainstream.
Her video & guide is awesome. You couldn't have done a better job using an ad agency and paying 1000 BTC. Let me clarify that yes the ad agency tutorial would be more professional but it also would come across as an ad. The informal nature of the video and guide is worth way more.
Getting the name Bitcoin out there EVERYWHERE builds MINDSHARE. When potential users see Bitcoin on reddit girls, on wikileaks donation page, on CNBC, in an academic paper, at CES, at Steam, etc without someone trying to sell it to them it builds credibility vs "DUDE YOU GOT TO GET THE COINZ YOU CAN MAKE TONS OF FREE MONEY ON YOUR COMPUTER THESE THINGS ARE GOING TO $100 BY DEC".
I dropped her some coins and anyone who values Bitcoin becoming more mainstream should too. It sucks she got downright attacked on r/GoneWild though. Well nobody said being an early adopter is easy.
^^this^^ - it is time to bring Bitcoin to the mainstream I support this message. Bbit

She is saying that someone is stealing her Bitcoin from instawallet, possibilities: - She is lying - She shared her personal instawallet link with someone else by mistake - Instawallet isn't secure
I hope that someone will find what it's happening, because Instawallet is used my many people!

She blurred out the URL in the address bar of her browser, but the unique bit is still visible in the information block to the left. https://i.imgur.com/e9jTxh.jpgEdit: "A safe is only as strong as the key holder."

Well she can always take some new photos w/ a new address (and hopefully keep this one a secret). Also might be a good idea on the contest page to emphasize that Bitcoin is like digital cash (keep it protected, use strong passwords, don't share account info, treat it like a big pile of physical cash, you know the usual noob protection stuff)

Oh man, that so sucks! I'll send her another bitcoin when she's fixed the vulnerability. Easy mistake to make!
Instawallet itself is very trustworthy, I use it all the time. Just have to make sure not to disclose that unique URL!

Update from reddit Thank you everyone! I'm just piecing it together now, but I made a pretty big mistake by revealing my instawallet url in one of the photos; I have lost all of your generous donations to a very greedy jealous person. But all is not lost, I think I won half the bounty for the first video posted. And who knows, maybe things don't have to stop here at Bitcoin how-to's... I don't know her but i think i fell in love...

Isn't it just usual instawallet goings on? Sure, btc sent to that address are added to the account, but then go into the instawallet pile. Another instawallet user withdrawing has a chance of getting those coins. Coin mixing. Doesn't instawallet have a "send from green address" option? Giving away the secret bit wasn't smart, but instawallet isn't broken.
