Faucets waste your time, no big money can be made. and they also can be dangerous, as you someway provide your bitcoin address

Providing a BTC deposit address is not dangerous at all, since nothing else can be done with it other than deposit coins.

If you're browsing safely with adblock and with javascript disabled, theses sites probably aren't dangerous. And if you're on faucets, you probably don't have much to lose anyways.

And how to know whether I have adblock in my browser? I use mozilla, chrome, opera. which is safer?

My personal favorite as far as that goes is BitcoinGet. You can just open all the videos in a row of tabs and let them play in the background while you do other things for a better hourly rate than you get with most faucets. But I do think people do forget that you can get others to do the earning for you with referral links.

Have you heard about these things called Bitcoin faucets? They’re these sites that give away small fractions of Bitcoins (BTC) every thirty minutes, one hour, three hours, six hours, or 24 hours. Sounds like they’d be pretty cool for building up Bitcoins over time, right? Well, unless you have the free time to hit all of the faucets out there every half hour, you’re probably not going to extract all the Bitcoin you could out of them.

A lot of faucet sites are closing down because they are losing money. Some are still going to be there but for the most part you are not going to make almost any money. You should check out the services section and try to earn some BTC there. Right now I am in an ad campaign to promote primedice in my signature and they pay me about 35 cents per constructive post. Build up your reputation on here and post frequently and you can rank up and help out too!

Do you have any better solution to propose? It's just impossible to distribute money in a perfectly equal way to everyone. Plus, having the right amount of wealthy persons or organization is vital to a society.

Only way to earn decent amount of bitcoin using faucets is by having a auto solving captcha bot in combination with ip changer.
But then were talking about chating the system, and faucets are made for people to get a "feeling" about bitcoin transactions, not to make you rich.

cheers

Earning 1mbtc would be difficult even from a large amount of faucets. Most don't even use microwallet or alternatives so withdrawing will be virtually impossible.

If you want to earn mbtc find someone paying for a service. Such as filling offers or downloading apps sort of like microworkers. For example I offer a service to anyone willing to fill survey's and/or download games, apps etc. Pm if interested

Of course faucets are a ponzi-scheme within the ponzi-schme of crypto within the ponzi scheme of fiat. Human history is ponzi-scheme inception.

To somebody just starting out it's a decent point of entry.

With wild speculation on future satoshi prices one day it could be as if being paid a few hundred dollars to fill in a few captchas, just like receiving whole bitcoin years ago. While there are more efficient ways to turn a profit it's interesting to consider the possibility of say, eating free for 3 months in 2030 if you leave your balance untouched.

If Bitcoin were to get to the price level you are speculating it will, it would still be way more profitable to transform a handful of dollars into Bitcoins rather than do faucets. There's really no way faucets make sense, other than to try sending transactions for the first time and learn how wallets work.

It depends how much dollars you're making er hour and how much free time you have. If you're in complete poverty or trapped somewhere, bitcoin faucets may be a way to start

My point is simply that people in dire poverty in 20XX will hear of faucets dispensing free satoshi/coin and be astounded.

I see 'bitcoin stories' already and they will surely get more popular as the people most apt to consume them get involved.

"The story of how I lived (modestly) off the reward from a satoshi faucet for a year."

Who knows?

I think if you're going to "waste" time on faucets you might as well do it at sites like Primedice and you can try to multiply it with the dice feature, and then withdraw.  At least you can get something that way whereas the regular faucets don't offer enough reward for your time.

yes, you could get faucet money, put in primedice, and hope that luck is on your side  Smiley

Faucets are a waste of time trust me. You'll only get a few cents so what's the point?
