It's a helicopter, also there was another helicopter crash in Iraq just recently, (there were many that were shot by ISIS, but the one I'm mentioning crashed) It was an Aid helicopter and there was a NYT Jounarlist in it that survived

This is really crazy. Airplanes crashes and falling this days as a apples, almost every week. What is going on with the airplane transport today? Why so many accidents in so short time?

^A couple of crashes hardly mean that they're dropping like apples. Just check the statistics on daily fatal car crashes.
"About 115 people die every day in vehicle crashes in the United States -- one death every 13 minutes."

It's just that it worked that way, that's how probability and statistic works, to confirm a statistic law you need a long period hence the plane is the safest means of transport, the latest events are just a sad coincidence

It was a privat jet, not any kind of copter.
It is suspicious because the plane was a new one, and the witnesses say that it was already in fireball mode when it hits the ground.
Plus the Brazilian's law that makes investigation of air crashes classified subject was approved this year, in May.

There seems to be a missunderstanding among some of the writers here. In Latin America "Socialist" ;, "Progressive&qu ot; etc does not necessery mean leftist. In Brazil left starts with the ruling PT then comes some smaller communist parties. Campos was a liberal.

Campos was never a major contender. His support ranged from 10% to 15%, well behind that of the other major contenders, Dilma Rousseff of PT and Aécio Neves of the PSDB. Sad, because both Dilma and Neves are sides of the same coin.
Campos was a good man, who stood for the environment and for the natives. For long, he was on the hit list of oligarchs and corporates.

Yes, socialist and progessist/progressive means exactly what they sound. They are put on the right wing because there is few to no true right wing left in Brazil. They differ more on the ways to reach the communism than to the final goal - they are not favorable to a violent revolution since its inception . But since the PT and allieds already gave up on the take power by force way, there is not much difference among them.

I also heard this in the news sucks to have so many airplane crashes in the news Lately it does feel like these things just fall out of the sky all the time but its very safe most of the time though My condolences for his death and it makes sense that they delay the election a few days on it.

There is an interesting analytical reader comment: Zachary Cohen 14.08.2014 01:50
Brilliant! Eliminate Aecio Neves' capitalist spoiler while inserting his leftist Running mate, Silva, into the race as a spoiler taking votes from Dilma Rousseff. Tables are turned, Neves gets into office, and the US has an asset to use to undermine BRICS from within. Bravo, John Brennan!

This fact does not change the fact that the crash is not highly suspicious considering how new the plane was and the conditions that the plane was flying in.

Campos had many powerful and rich enemies, including politicians from the ruling party. He was against the illegal logging in Amazon and encroachment of the Brazilian national parks.
