Hello,

Im new to this whole bitcoin world and I have some questions. Can you have a wallet on your iPad? How many posts do you need to have before you can trade things in the marketplace forum? What is the best exchange to buy and sell on? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Hello,

Im new to this whole bitcoin world and I have some questions.
Welcome, Smiley.

Can you have a wallet on your iPad?
You can use most web-based wallets (that don't actually use Javascript to save the wallet on your phone such as Mt.Gox). Mt.Gox does have an app in cydia (I've got it, and love it), but don't think the build is for iPads.

How many posts do you need to have before you can trade things in the marketplace forum?
5 post and 4 hours of logged in (browsing) time.
Then, make a post in the whitelisted thread to be whitelisted to the other sections.

What is the best exchange to buy and sell on?
I would say Mt.Gox as it's fairly decent for USD trades (as it's one of the most active), but Tradehill is a good second. Also, is good if you want to decentralize (keep your eyes open for others).

Thanks for the info man I appreciate it. And I'll look into the web based wallets to see which one is right for me
