LOL!  dude nemstake means NeM-IPO guys can dump their asset on the asset exchange, thats the only reason why nemstakes were brought to life in the first place- so other ppl can buy in. now they bought in ultra high (ie. from people like me with 10+ stakes) and coin price falls every single day. petmaster even sent some stakes out to scammers.

nightmare doesnt even cut it, its more than that.  calling this project "egalitarian and fair" is a fucking joke.

Glad I didn't invest in NEMstake back when it was still around $1,200-ish. It was only available via the Nxt AE and the fact that I was only just getting my head around Nxt might have been the reason why I didn't buy in back then. The price is very low now but rebounded slightly so I think I might buy 0.1 NEMstake just in case NEM does actually become big.

The success of NEM probably depends on the success of second generation cryptos in general. The relationship between Nxt and coins like NEM and Qora could be comparable to the relationship between Bitcoin and coins like Peercoin and Litecoin.

NEMstake isn't actually a coin. It just represents a stake. Those with a stake can claim coins once NEM is launched. Each NEMstake is worth 1 million coins so 1 NEM will still be much less valuable than 1 BTC. There are 1,000 NEMstakes and 4 billion NEM (not sure where the other 3 billion comes from but I'm too lazy to check).

While the price has fallen NEM is far from done. It will launch this fall and then I have no doubt the price will rebound and then some.

Just look at the NEM thread and see how active it is. People are just too impatient around these parts and nobody seems to understand that in the software development world, delays are not just common but standard (unless you are the type who releases and alpha version and let your customers do the testing for you).

You really did? I'm surprised. I've missed out on this completely. Well it will always be like that, promises are being made people blindly following and buying up the coin.
I do not really see the need to buy NEM, nor have I ever. Although I've seen a lot of NEM supporters a month or two back in various threads.
