i have this Avalon 2 i've had for about 3 weeks now
Seeming useless to me

ordered TP-link WP703N (Died when i tried to reflash)

is it even possible to mine using in Windows OS (XP, 7 or Cool?

when i plug it in nothing comes up under devices and i dont hear a sound the computer normally makes when you connect a device

is it Dead?

my set up
Avalon 2
APEVIA ATX-TL450W
TP-link (DEAD)
and just ordered a Rasberry pie (on the way)

i've searched around found different ways but they dont seem to work with me
can someone shed some light on what im doing wrong? and how i can correct the issue?

I guess you have this one

https://ehash.com/product/avalon2-single-module/

You can download the Raspberry Pi image from the following link
http://downloads.canaan-creative.com/software/avalon2/latest/openwrt-brcm2708-sdcard-vfat-ext4.img

You can use Windows 7 to mine using USB port and on this WiKi page you can find instructions on how to setup this,
follow them and tell us what happened.

There is also a video tutorial http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNjgyMDY4Nzg0.html
