Hello Fellow Bitcoiners,

I would like to offer the debt of Shakaru (Andrew) owe to me. He's owe's a total of ~67 BTC of which I said I would forgive the interest on (~15 BTC). So, you would be buying a 52.41 BTC Debt for 20 BTC.

This debt was due to a loan made to Shakaru for 100 BTC after the Astana ordeal.

Best,
gigavps

Edit: I have lowered the price to 15 BTC.

What's the catch? What are the chances of getting this debt?

Their is a collections thread and Shakaru is cooperating. I do not want to speculate on whether the debt will be paid back or not. My main reason for selling is that I have other needs for the coins and I would like to move on from this.

Excellent idea.  If I had some spare btc on hand I'd buy it.

So why don't we get something organised like https://www.lendingclub.com/ but for bitcoins. And rate different Borrowers based on their risk.

The higher their risk, the higher the interest and thus higher the returns for lenders. So if you're a Lender and you fancy some risk and high returns then you'd go for a higher risk Borrower.

On the other hand if you just want to make your BTC work but without any high risk, you could choose someone with a high rating and thus lower interest.

It also keeps bitcoins flowing rather than being stashed in one place.

Do you know the real identity of the Shakaru? his contact information, the name and contacts of his friends and family? If so, lots of people will be interested.

After reviewing the other thread, I retract my offer for 2 BTC and lower it to 1 BTC.

2% may even be too much..

One method for anyone who want to get back the money is to contact the person himself and as well as his family and friend. You can tell every person knows him that "this guy lend money and don't pay back..." the social pressure will make him do the right thing.

maybe you should divide this NPL into 50 shares. And each share holder can call his friend once, so that his friend will get a SMS or email saying that he owe people money three time a day from different person. and you can still keep like 50% percent of the NPL. even if you sell 60% of the NPL for free( of course you don't have to, see my offer below), you will get back the 25% of the face value of the NPL.

I would like to offer you 0.01 0.000001 BTC for 1 BTC of the NPL. (we can see the benefit of the bitcoin payment system.  you can not do this with the green back paper.)

Wait, does his family speak english?  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

edit. some one PM me an interesting information to make me edit my offer. who can say that a drunker will not find his God one day. He will pay you back the bitcoin then.

He owes all his family and friends money also, aside from the $40,000 USD he promissed everyone on this forum, that has been reduced to $20,000.  He has no way to repay.

Someone really should break one of his legs and tell him to get a f'n job and stop scamming and start paying.

Silverbox, if you would like to start a thread about breaking people's legs, fine, please just keep this shit out of my thread.

I have no problems with you posting your point of view, but please do not suggest issues around money are worth harming other people.
