digger.bitcoinbootstrap.com

We are a new pool, testing is complete, blocks solved and payouts verified.

We would like you to give us a try, and would like to support bitcoin security so we are giving away a TREZOR!

Here's how it works.

Mine with us for a bit and see what you think.

On Sunday August 17th 2014 we will be giving away a TREZOR to one of our miners.

Contest details:

BTC payments are processed hourly by API

To determine the winner, we will use the first payout the occurs after 17:00 ( 5:00 PM ) EDT
Payouts are calculated to 8 decimal places, any payouts with less than 8 decimal place will be determined to end in 0's to make 8 decimal places.

The winner will be the mining address whose 4th and 5th decimal places are closest to 42.

Example 1:  Payout .02842678 would be an exact match and win
Example 2:  Payout .01738935 would win over Payout .0324982 as the first is .00004 away from exact match and the second is .00007 away from an exact match.

Winning address will be sent a bitcoin payment in the amount needed to buy a TREZOR from www.buytrezor.com at that days BTC rate.

In the case of a tie, winner will be determined by the highest number of decimal places 6, 7 and 8.

As we pay scrypt and SHA thru different APIs, both will be considered as part of the contest, and one winner in total will be awarded the prize.

All numbers can be verified on the blockchain, and payment to the winner can also be verified on the blockchain.

Links to payout and payment will be posted here.

Thanks and good luck!

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Why do we need a new pool?..

I am tired of waiting for the block while mining about 3 weeks at triplemining.com which has 82 Th/s... How long will I wait for a block at your pool with just 1.68 Th/s hashrate (which is shared among all SHA coins)?.. Tooo looong for such a hard mining times...

More pools = more choice.

As I see it, choice is good.

Some smaller miners may benefit from a SHA switching pool, as they get regular payouts from the alt coins.

And having your SHA and Scrypt miners at the same pool is kinda nice.....
