If the value of DRK drops during the term of the loan(collateral < 100110%) I'll submit additional collateral back up to 125%150%. But you'll have to send me a PM or write here and explicitly ask for additional collateral, and I'll send it in 24 hours!
Only trusted members + Escrow! Preferably 2-of-3 escrow. If possible, suggest at least two escrow providers and I'll pick one.

You may want to offer a higher interest. 1.25% per week is very low for the associated risk. I might be willing to do this, but terms and rates needs to be different.

I'm not sure that I understand, where is the risk exactly?

I can do it, but I need to have control of the DRK (so no escrow) in order to avoid risk and use as a potential short.

What about the risk I take? How I'm supposed to trust you? Are you willing to provide 1 BTC collateral with escrow! DannyHamilton, zero fee, you don't lose anything! In this case I'll send the DRK directly to you!

Im willing to fund half of this loan aka 0.5 BTC if someone wants to put the other half up.
I also request 150% DRK collateral to be held by the escrow due to price volatility and the short order clause still in place sub 110.

You really don't see the risk? DRK is currently on a downtrend. What you're offering is only 20% higher than repayment. There is a very real chance that DRK can plummet over 20% of its current value over this 30-day time period. Are you willing to provide 1 BTC collateral with escrow! DannyHamilton, zero fee, you don't lose anything!
If I were going to give you this loan, I would have asked to hold the DRK collateral as well, rather than escrow. When escrow holds the coins, that's just one more step to slow down liquidating the collateral if needed. You can't predict when/if DRK will crash, and if you happen to catch it while it's crashing, you won't know if escrow will be able to respond to your PM quick enough.

I can do the full amount with DannyHamilton escrow. I propose that I send DannyHamilton the 1 BTC, you send the 1.5 BTC worth of Darkcoin to me, and then DannyHamilton releases the BTC to you. When the loan is over, you send the 1.05 BTC to DannyHamilton, I send you the same amount of Darkcoin you have sent me and any additional that was sent to keep it above 110%, and DannyHamilton releases the BTC. If value falls below 110%, it needs to be pushed back up. I am only willing to do this if I have access to the DRK and it is not held in an escrow for the 30 days. Collateral may be used as a hedge or short. I can also do half. I currently am lending to several members: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740207.msg8362681#msg8362681

Why ruin my reputation and screw up the loans I'm giving out so I can cash out with a few pennies in profit? It would make no sense for me to run with .5 BTC or .25 BTC, especially when I have other outstanding loans, signature payments, etc. It sounds like it's not going to be worth the effort loaning to you. In that case, I wish you good luck finding someone else who will cover the rest. I would personally highly recommend just selling the Darkcoin, though - I mean, how much value has this coin lost since you posted this thread? It's likely just going to keep sinking.

My bad, didn't saw that you are a big player! You've already loaned people for the colossal sum of 0.2865 BTC. Reputation lol, really? Maybe I'm blind but you have no reputation! Everyone can buy a full member account, even Sr. Member if they wish. Trust, rep, activity don't mean anything to me. Keep your pseudo trusted account and please don't bother me anymore. You are either blind or a scammer. Why are you wasting my time? Only trusted members + Escrow! Preferably 2-of-3 escrow.
Anyway, now I'm offering 150% collateral. Escrow is mandatory, though.

I understand that you likely do feel frustrated now, as you have not been able to get the loan yet and the value is going down. However, there's no reason to escalate our conversation into an argument. Neither of us could come to a deal, which really should be no big deal. Not every negotiation will end in an agreement. Sometimes there just aren't terms that both parties can agree with. Since accusations have been made, I do have to defend myself: You're the one who is too blind to see that you're not going to receive a loan if the Darkcoin is kept in escrow. It's too volatile and it has been dropping like a rock. The risk is too great for the reward. Yeah...and this is because I would be receiving whopping .25 BTC or .5 BTC in Darkcoin over the amount I am sending you. That's like $110-$220 LOL. So, count out say .2 for my Prime Dice sig, .3 in other loans, and what does that equal? .5 BTC that I'd stand to lose right off the bat by running with your collateral. Which basically cancels everything out and just ruins my excellent reputation. Remember: You're the one asking for a favor. You need a loan more than someone needs to loan to you. Potential lenders should be treated with respect. It's very easy to verify whether or not an account has been bought or sold. Just spend 45 seconds reading through the post history and you should get a pretty good idea. I could spend 5 more paragraphs disproving you, as I am a huge player, but I'm not going to waste my time. Have a nice day and I wish you all the luck in the world getting this miracle loan.

LOL it was so much fun reading this... There is only one paragraph that make sense. As a pure act of altruism I'll help you to make some money (from posts), so, feel free to comment. Neither of us could come to a deal, which really should be no big deal. Not every negotiation will end in an agreement. Sometimes there just aren't terms that both parties can agree with.
I couldn't agree with you more. You're the one who is too blind to see that you're not going to receive a loan if the Darkcoin is kept in escrow. It's too volatile and it has been dropping like a rock. The risk is too great for the reward.
Yeah, I probably am but you couldn't know for sure! People are different, as you can see there is already one person who don't mind using escrow. So, I can assume there are probably others too. Yeah...and this is because I would be receiving whopping .25 BTC or .5 BTC in Darkcoin over the amount I am sending you. That's like $110-$220 LOL. Why are you pretending that .5 BTC is like nothing for you when you are making 0.0006 BTC per post and you are happy? .3 in other loans? Who knows? Maybe those are your sockpuppet accounts! Maybe you're landing yourself just to build some trust and/or "constructive" posts for the PrimeDice signature campaign. Remember: You're the one asking for a favor. You need a loan more than someone needs to loan to you. Potential lenders should be treated with respect.
That's absolutely wrong! How you came to this conclusion? Am I asking for donations, gifts or something? It's a mutual benefit! If I needed that loan that much I could offer much better terms. Like 200-250% collateral and/or bigger interest rate. Or at least I could pretend to be more polite than I am and respect potential scammers. It's very easy to verify whether or not an account has been bought or sold. Just spend 45 seconds reading through the post history and you should get a pretty good idea.
Yeah, sure. Like there are no people that selling their normal accounts(no spamming and such) after some time. I could spend 5 more paragraphs disproving you, as I am a huge player, but I'm not going to waste my time. Have a nice day and I wish you all the luck in the world getting this miracle loan. I'm sure you can. And yeah, you are a huge player, who knows, maybe one day you will be the next Bill Gates with that 0.0006 BTC per post. As you can see, I've edited the title before your post, I don't need this loan anymore.

As you can see, I've edited the title before your post, I don't need this loan anymore. I do not care whatsoever about the .0006 BTC per post. I actually signed up for a sig campaign like 5 days ago - before that I didn't even have one. LOL it was so much fun reading this... There is only one paragraph that make sense. As a pure act of altruism I'll help you to make some money (from posts), so, feel free to comment.
Yeah, of course you are going to say that. It's the only paragraph where we agree with eachother. Apparently, anyone who disagrees with you doesn't make sense. I'm not going to reply to the other points, as I'm not feeling as altruistic as you are today. The fact is though, we are talking about half a BTC. I've made transactions thanks to this forum for 15x that. For anonymity reasons, I really don't want to say much about myself. I am shorting BTC and LTC for over $25K right now though without even being a wee bit nervous, if that helps. Soon enough I'll be dealing with even larger amounts. And yep, you are looking at the future Bill Gates. Someday you'll look back at this conversation and say "wow, I really had a conversation with him! I should have asked for an autograph!" _____________________________________ This is what I consider a complete Internet argument. We would never have an argument like this face to face, as there would be no point and we would likely get along. You slipped in an insult in one of your replies, so I defend myself and insult you back, then you do the same, then I do the same, etc. It's a waste of everyone's time. Anyway, I think we can probably make a deal here. Since you seem to be of the view that I am posting in order to earn a few pennies from my Prime Dice signature, let's disprove that. I will delete all of my posts from this thread if you will delete all of your replies to my posts. This would erase any Prime Dice earnings I have gotten from posting in this thread. Agreed?
