Big News is that we've found a dev to do the poker site, and made the initial payment. He will post in here soon, and will work with you guys to get the site you want. It will have multi-table tournaments and no limit tables. The developer is respected in this community, and is also running the Facebook campaign: CarltonBanksy. This will be a nice new addition to GB, along with everything else we're working on.

I'd like to consult in that game. Or if not, he can take a look at what I tried to do before.

hey guys i still cant find any active connections what would be causing this?

Looking for answer to this too.  I have a lot of GB.  Was staking for a while fine before my computer messed up.

However, I have no tried both the older wallet client and the V2 client with no ability to connect having the clients open well over 24 hours.  Have tried another computer.  Have tried using another internet connection.  Nothing is connecting for me.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that the devs did work out a deal with me to get the poker site created.

I am currently working on having mockups created for the poker site and will have a couple for you to choose from ready shortly.

If you want to talk about the poker project, feel free.  Open to all suggestions.

I have some threads from last year on how to make it provably fair, (with the exception of super-users and collusion, as those are human problems.)

Are you using a specific web software cuz that kind of bug would be system wide?

Yes, the devs are working on it.  I have posted it to the script site and warned all the other owners that they are compromised and to move their coins to a safe place.  There was at least one other person who also got hacked.

Dude.. You are exactly like me about two months ago. I lost 120,000WDC.. About 4BTC at the time. The exact same exploit was in his dice site.. I am told this has happened over and over to other people trying to run the software for sometime.

I wanted to give it a try again.. But wanted to bait the exploiter. So only left a small amount on the site.. and bam! I got a hacker within one hour of deploying the site. I didn't even announce the site! How did they know??!?! I was able to review the logs and find out what was going on.

I do know one thing, every new release needs to be scrutinized to all hell. We have no idea if the exploit was put in by the software provider or truly a bug. Not saying it was, but I trust no one at this point.

I wouldn't believe a single character typed by that guy. Wink

The Cannabiscoin version was also "hacked".

Poker Update:

Just purchased greenbackspoker.com

Also, purchased a pre-written poker system with the devs permission.  This will need to be highly modified to use Greenbacks, and I have already started on that.

We're going to be getting a vps today, and will start the setup of the wallet/rpc.

Just to clarify, this will be texas holdem poker with full capabilities just like the other big poker sites out there in the crypto community.

Well, I'll play, even though it won't be provably fair. (Not that that's a bad thing, Seals is also not provably fair.)

I don't think you can have a provably fair poker site unless you mean fair as in the site itself won't scam you.

At any time players who are friends can collude to make their odds go up.

You can only make the shuffle fair, and provable, while keeping unknown cards secret. Collusion is a different problem solved by different means.

GreenBacks to be added to Mintpal v2, which will be launched somewhere in the next 12 hours! (According to their official Twitter feed).

It is probably worthwhile to buy some GB now while they are still cheap as there is a chance price will go up substantially once it is live on Mintpal v2

Not sure if everyone is aware, but the web wallet and android wallet are in development. We have hired the dev to do that, and have made initial payment. Previews should be coming pretty soon, but we just wanted to update you guys and make sure everyone knows this is coming.

Also, voting for the new logo will start in a couple hours.

After a week of not working, I haven't stopped trying, both clients.. and, they are connecting now.  Not sure if or what has changed in the backend, but try again guys and see if it will connect for you.
