Sorry to hear this. =I A situation similar to yours lately took place with Opalcoin; some developer not related to the project had created a trojaned version of the Opal wallet that stole people's coins. A great portion was returned through negotiating with the thief, but a lot still went missing. This lead into the discussion of whether or not it would be able to somehow earmark the stolen coins, preventing them from being sold. As of now, no solution exists to do this. It's a two-edged sword since doing it would be to significantly eat away the P2P nature of cryptos. Still, it is something that needs to and will be looked into much more deeply. Yours, Jyri -- Altcoin.Center P.S. Should I have any GB myself I'd be glad to cover at least part of your losses. The thing is however, that I have zero, and I intend to keep it that way at least for now. While some may find this weird, I feel it's a good way to show that I'm not in this for the typical quick profit & runaway scam. Thank You for a kind words, I'm not asking for anything but rather warn how it could end trying to quickly repair previous losses, yeah it was a lot of that but learning from it's own mistakes is hard and painful but I hope not a wasted time. Two losses in one week on : cryptodouble which was promised to be an investnment in pro traders and then weeklyponzi which was straight ponzi but with a "big early chance" of return. Enough of quick bucks for me @www.www Now it's a small money but half of it I bought for ~5 BTC in the time when price was 0.00002253 - 0.00001600 BTC BTC and thenm bagholded for a few months in a hope for price return. Second half bought for 0.00000085 BTC Agree with your thoughts , just for curiocity will be looking at the price from time to time to see how things could end for me if I didn't lose this coins, Good luck for both of You, thanx , bye |

Things are moving around GB and 2015 seems to be the year of Greenbacks! Nice volume and price range in these first days of January, price almost doubled even though it is far from recovered. Would it be the best crypto invest of 2015 or not, greenbacks is definitely an awesome chance!

I agree with you but I'm afraid that this position will be perceived as advertising. Therefore, try to give a broader view. Without claiming to be complete. Only view of the situation. Early investors so everything is clear. Therefore my words are addressed mainly to those who are looking for their place in the crypto. And So. GB normal altcoin 2014 what was a lot. This coin has passed the standard PnD cycle and until recently was under half-dead. Why until recently. Because we have changed the developer. I do not want to speak ill of the old team. They have made a fully functional development. But the price of the work was frankly overpriced. How Come. Because the old team for the money from the IPO had at least another six months to pursue a policy of minor technical improvements. Conduct a simulation support, etc. In this case, the profit from the coins divided by the time support would have been more acceptable level. By their merits should be added the fact that they are not lost. Coin with all the resources transferred to the new developer and that it is linked to my expectations. How Come. Firstly because it is a legal person and not hiding under pseudonyms. Secondly, I tried to understand his philosophy that are available to read any of you. I like this philosophy that led to the success of Bitcoin. With Juri us too will succeed. Third, he experienced and honest man. In difficult times can only decent person. There are other criteria. OR whether you have some connection or incentive-driven motive to support Jyri (whom you've been spelling incorrectly as Juri) and put a blindside to the fact that GB could never be Jyri's first priority (or even second or third as a matter of fact) because he has his hands full with many other altcoins and then some more ! Any thoughts ? |

There has been some recent events that could affect the security of POS coins. Their is a group of individuals forming that plan to intentionally attack POS coins. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=897493.0And it looks like they have been successful in attacking Apexcoin with an attack. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/apex/Don't know if it would be a concern for GreenBacks, but post it so you would know what they are up too.  |
