It has a couple of other additions as well. Basically it's just an early patch that's free to Battlefront preorders.

That's correct. Everyone who orders/ordered this version will be able to play on Jakku starting December 1.

Once the keys for the Day One Edition are gone we will just add normal keys and change the product title.  Nobody has to wait thinking the price will change on the 1 December.

Took me a few minutes before the email arrive. Anyway, redeemed the game today and added it to my Steam library. Spent the whole Morning and Afternoon trying to fix DirectX Failsafe error 2. I gave up in the end. Other than my 2.9 GHz processor every thing is above the minimum requirement. I have DirectX 10 and enough RAM. :/. No worries. As soon as I have a new computer, I will fire the game again! .
