I don't think we'll go any further down, but 10k seems blindly optimistic. I mean with more merchants coming abord people will spend btc, and most companies cash out immediately. There is not a steady stream of new buyers, therefore it's creates an overall drop in price.

If BTC reaches to $1k by the end of year , even then I would be happy but $10k is rather too optimistic. |

I voted NO since it is quite possible that we go into the 400's in the next few days or even weeks; however 10000$ or even 100000$ is also quite possible over the next year.

But it doesn't make sense to find a new bottom just below the one we just saw at $480 (bitstamp) and $450 (Bitfinex), if we are going lower we going to $0 lol  Either the bottom is in or the new bottom will be down to the pits of hell (400 or lower) The next level of heavy support is around $440. We may go there and double bottom before it's all over. P.S. I can't believe I'm posting in a fonzie topic. |

My reply is that we are not going to stay above $500 for ever, and a "next stop" of $10k is utterly ridiculous. If we have a simple consolidation at $530 then that would be the next stop wouldn't it? No way are we going for $10k this year. |

yes, even the bitfinex flashcrash wasn't as severe as in the past. the markets are maturing very fast! this has been a pretty slow grind down. while i hope that the bottom is in, bouncing where we did (old support + heavily oversold) is not a surprise. but it doesn't mean this is over. i know that we may not have even see the panic hit yet. just best not to deny the possibilities.... |

Sure but last year, such a drop would have triggered much bigger panic than it did today. People finally start to realize that Bitcoin has a treshold of value that all people agree that it is "time" to rebuy some. Even bears would agree that 300 and lower is very unrealistic |
