Do you guys recall the recent travesty that occurred in Fullerton awhile back when this man, Kelly Thomas, was beaten into a coma at the hands of Fullerton Police Department and later died?

My long-time personal friend Travis Kiger played a key role in making sure the police officers involved in this death faced their punishment. Travis Kiger runs the website "FullertonsFuture.org", a community watchdog/blog calling out political corruption and police abuse in their local government. Because of his leadership role in holding authority accountable, he is being encouraged to run for office and help clean up the city and tame its out of control budgets.

If you would like to help a person like Travis Kiger fight back against this type of bureaucracy and cronyism, consider helping out his champaign by donating some Bitcoins.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

I was looking for a good reason to deplete an Instawallet account. I guess this is good as any. Besides, nobody else donated yet, so I felt being the first would be fun. So fun, in fact, I didn't even bother to check Travis's political affiliation. I deemed it unimportant.

Your're welcome, Tuxavent.

And, close enough. Glad he isn't between a Democrat and a Progressive, but still would have been happy donating to him if he turned out to be such.

The cops were wrong and deserve punishment to be sure.

I had two occasions of being approached by Thomas while in Fullerton. He was begging and I said sorry, I have nothing for you. Both times he responded with anger, vulgarity, and veiled threats as he walked away because he knew if he stayed he would have received a beat down. He was no innocent waif on the streets pining for a loving home, warm bed, and a meal.
