It's not a huge amount of btc, personally I'd either gamble it or buy into an undervalued alt currency and hope the price goes up.

You could spend it on purchasing mining contracts. I have stuff going on at Cryptsy, BCS, PBMining, and Scrypt.cc should you want to check those out.

I'm going to shamelessly post my referral links to them, because why not?

Cryptsy - Online exchange site where you can buy and sell Bitcoin and altcoins. They also have a Mining Contract 'currency' that are essentially mining shares you can buy and sell with Bitcoin. Every day, based on your shares you're accredited Bitcoin. You can also buy the shares and sell later when prices go up.

Bitcoin Cloud Services A service I'm trying out, seems to pay in BTC daily. Five year contracts (legitimacy isn't guaranteed. Then again, the market of trade is never guaranteed) and the BTC is deposited to your wallet

PBMining is another service like BCS, but has a smaller minimum contract requirement, and pays weekly.

Scrypt.cc is like Cryptsy's Mining Contract shares, but mines the most profitable altcoin and autotrades to BTC.

^those are handy for if you want to toss them somewhere and let them build up.

Another thing to do is to watch the values of altcoins on Cryptsy, buy them when the value of altcoins go down, and sell when they go up. You can profit from that. There are other exchanges besides Cryptsy, but I like using Cryptsy.

And another way is to sell Bitcoin for your fiat currency when it spikes in value, and buy when it drops. There are a lot of ways you can do stuff.

You can hold it and wait for the price to rise. I think it is the best option to make some profit from BTC.

You can invest it to buy some altcoins, it's risky though. I suggest you to buy some KryptKoin (KTK), since it's cheap now, but I predict it will spike soon when new features come out, like its marketplace. Here's a link, if you are interested:

Hello, I bought about 0.0087 btc today to learn more about btc and things I could do with it (investing or spending).

You could keep it in your wallet, waiting for the price to go up.
You could invest in casinos or buy stocks on Havelock.
You could buy various goods and services, gamble on different games and sites, or donate it to many different organizations.

I would strongly advise against investing in mining, its oversaturated and unprofitable.
Not to mention that with cloud mining you dont even have the hardware in your possesion.
The only thing you can do if u wont hold it, and want to invest is to take a smart guess investing in new altcoins.

Also if you want, go over to the lending section and see if anyone needs a loan that big. You can grow it that way. Just be careful of scammers, use your brain.

I'd advise you to save it and hold it,but you decide.I'd rather not buy any altcoin because now I've been part of a lot of so called scams and I really don't want to participate in them,at least for a while.
And you can search for methods to make btc in the meanwhile.

It's not a big amount and if you're not afraid of losing it try gambling a little and maybe you'll be able to add a little more to it if you're lucky, I wouldn't suggest trading altcoins, it's really hard to guess which ones are legit and which ones aren't. Don't lend it to anybody without a proper collateral.

Don't invest in any cloud mining. Seems like all sites are starting to fall apart and
come out as the ponzis they are. PBmining seems extremely suspicious in terms
of what hashing power they're renting out, and the fact that they've never shown
any proof of having a single miner.

Lunamine and some other cloud mining site disappeared a few days ago, taking the coins of hundreds of users.

It's a risky business. The only safe investment would probably be cex.io, but their rates are far too high to be
profitable.

how can you invest 0.008BTC in mining? lol

just don't gamble it if you don't want to lose it

that what i mean , this guy only ask what he will do with his 4 $ and some post answer about online mining investment.

my advice is :
just save it for now , and collect more again before take decision to invest.
and learn hard about this btc world first

back to work

You can buy the games on Humble bundle https://www.humblebundle.com/.
You can pay whatever amount you want for a few games, and get a few more if you pay "more than the average" (slightly more than $4 for this round). Smiley
