Why should their be a political party for Bitcoin?
Having a Bitcoin political party would eventually drive people from all other political parties not to support Bitcoin, not to use it, which would ruin the idea of Bitcoin.

An no, I don't think it would, the candidates may be able to attract a lot of funding from BTC base, forceing other candidates to accept BTC. In fact this is already happening to a small extent. Politician love money to help them get elected and never say no to more money for their election.
