Hmm, I'm surprised no FPGA board designer has bought this. This should hash really well!


Its a monster FPGA no matter what you use it for but the thing about mining with it is someone would have to write a bitstream for it - which would require a skilled programmer and a lot of work

Its a monster FPGA no matter what you use it for but the thing about mining with it is someone would have to write a bitstream for it - which would require a skilled programmer and a lot of work


But at this price you could probably bash out a slow inefficient bitstream that isn't optimized, and still have some major bang for your buck. Grin Then tune it later.

That's not the same chip as BFL, I'm fairly certain.

this has 250k logic cells - which is a bit more than the spartan-6 chips in icarus and x6500 that you can get 200mhash from but it would probably not be able to do 800mhash - probably more like somewhere in between
