GNU MediaGoblin is a free software media publishing system for images, video, and audio. We're designing to support decentralization and tons of extensibility. You can think of it as a federated replacement for things like Flickr, YouTube or SoundCloud that you or anyone can run. Go to the comment box at the bottom and request that they add bitcoin support via bitpay.com for adding funds to a namecheap account.

where's their damn contact button

maybe over IRC, I contacted them in Diaspora.

Their answer: "I'm not sure, but it may well be possible as the FSF does accept bitcoin donations for itself. Email donate@fsf.org and express interest in donating via bitcoin to the project, and they'll let you know."

That sounds like too much of a bureaucratic approach to me.  Cheesy

Im trying to get the satirical artist William Banzai to accept bitcoin donations on his blog. http://williambanzai7.blogspot.co.uk/

Most of his cartoons involve ridiculing bankers and financiers. He would be a good influencer for bitcoin, by increasing its visibility in the arty scene.

After I tweeted him, he said he was open to accepting BTC donations. It would help if others tweeted him as well at  ‏@williambanzai7

https://help.pandora.com/customer/portal/emails/new

We would like to get a subscription and pay using bitcoins. Please let us know when this feature will be added. Thanks

This sort of email I find myself sending often. It's completely legitimate and also the best way to push adoption without actually being pushy.

I like to use "I'd love to become a customer, but I only transact online using bitcoins... any information on when you'll be accepting them as a payment method?"

same thing for donations, "Would love to donate but..."

I know Richard Stallman recently spoke at the Bitcoin conference, so I am assuming support for donating via bitcoin is also on its way.

referencing the post just above this one. i wont quote it as its not worth repeating. imagine the guy comes to this forum and types his web address in the search box, to see how many people are talking about his site. So that he can gauge popularity and whether its worth setting up bitcoin on his website.

the ONLY result he gets is a guy with 420 in his name a cannabis leaf as his avatar, calling him an a-hole.

maybe 420 shouldn't add public relations to his Resume

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

however, if 420 is correct in his assessment (which I cannot judge), I wouldn't mind the guy not using bitcoin.
