Peatio (http://peat.io) is the very first open-source cryptocurrency exchange in China, which adheres to the principle of integrity, transparency and being open-sourced, offering customers a highly-safe and easily-operating platform of digital currency. So far, Peatio has been one of the most successful open-source exchange around the world.

Aside from maintaining code security and offering basic services, Peatio pursues the perfection of user experience. We would love to hear from our consumers, absorb their contributions to the open source community, and help cryptocurrency enthusiasts to build their own trading platform. Through our Peatio project, we hope to see an increasing number of people in favor of exchange building techniques, thus more advanced functions of this cryptocurrency exchange platform will be created, discussed, and perfected. In the meantime, a virtuously cycling ecosystem of cryptocurrency can be evolved and thrived along with it.

You need to change the link in OP to https://peatio.tech in order to avoid confusion.

Are there any plans on integrating atomic cross-chain trading (also known as Atomic Swaps)?

I think High-frequency trading and Atomic Swaps are two different directions,
For Peatio 3.0 we are planning to release distributed exchange which allows interconnecting to each other for settlement.

I think further development for interconnecting exchange lies in support to FIX protocol and advanced arbitrage systems.
