What's next for Litecoin? It is approaching 12 months' low I think. And I don't hear anyone saying lately that it would be $250 soon. :-)
Is it going to survive the fall at all? Any predictions?

its been a bad summer for crypto's in general, but i think it will pull through. Plus lets not forget Litecoin, has been around alot longer and is more well known, it will survive.

The exchange rates for (almost) all altcoins have dropped a lot the last month. Has Litecoin really dropped that much more than the market in general?

It will survive but its heyday is certainly over. No way it will ever reach its previous highs.

All POW coins, including btc, should change to POS, since mining is too expensive and wasteful.

Litecoin is a keeper.  Difficulty is continuing to skyrocket.  It's only a matter of time before the price does too.

I much prefer Litecoin to Bitcoin, and I'm not alone.  If you've ever tried transferring Litecoin compared to Bitcoin, Litecoin is much more zippy.  Anyone wanting fast transactions on an established network should use Litecoin.

Too many holders for it to fail, I think. If it drops too low, there's plenty enough people hedging their bets it will come back up.

That said, Litecoin doesn't really offer anything that most other alts do these days.

you really should see how many are selling lol, I didnt realize how many week traders are in crypto,  I see many buyers are scaring them by also offering them low prices, which is a good tactic in my book

This is why I was planning on basing a coin off some Idea I had, but its going to be limited on the growth of the product.  It will be like shares but shares with coins and more private for the crypto coin I wanna develop

Why? Because it is old? I don't think that follows at all. Nowadays it really has no USP, nothing to recommend it. It's not a 2.0 coin, and it's not immune to ASICs, it's just another alt-coin.

Too many holders for it to fail, I think. If it drops too low, there's plenty enough people hedging their bets it will come back up.
I don't think the world works like that. There are things that are "too big to fail", but Litecoin isn't one of them.

What about Bitcoin? Is it too big to fail?

Maybe. Maybe not. I don't know who would commit serious money to bailing it out, should it become necessary.
