I don't think we have the technology to tell what the sun is when we can't even tell what our own planet we live on has? I don't think we will know for some time what is actually all in the earth, and a very long time until we know what is in the sun.

Interesting that you brought this up. At the time of this particular video Eric WAS living as a homeless person coyote. Atoms are mostly empty space. Hydrogen, for example, has a radius of about 53 pm (pico = 10 ^ -12). It's nucleus, a single proton, has a radius of about 850 am (atto = 10 ^ -18). The volume of the two spheres with those radii are 1.17e-20 m^3 & 3.0e-30 m^3 The ratio of them is 3.8 e 9, or about 4 parts per billion of the hydrogen atom is occupied, the rest is empty space. |
