Good question.  The main reason is that reddit allows unlimited editing of the main post and does not have a cool down on posting.  Makes managing the thread a lot easier.  The other reason is that it allows the contest to be run on a forum that is geared towards sports betting rather than here.  Good luck and I hope you join!

Because the Free Bet is on Nitrogen Sports so I prefer to run the contests in an area that I can control.  Unfortunately I do not have mod powers here.
