No did not say that its necessary to be a member of this site, its just a thought that since this site is floaded with knowledge and experience of others in order to make the correct decetion on what to buy (helped me believe me)
if you dont have this experience or being familiar with mining equipment its unlike to make
a purchase and investment of 300 miners X 4500 USD = 1,350,000 USD without having read here what is all about.The Place the electricity cooling etc is only from serious people.

By the way my full member current state is not lesser or greater than yours or any other member here as all opinions are valuable and honorable.

I totally understand your point BUT this website/forum is not the only place on the internet where people give advice or information regarding BTC mining and miners.

Just because someone is a newbie on this forum doesn't mean they are out to scam others, although I do agree with you in that on THIS forum most are.

The best advice I can give anyone (including you) is, Always use a trusted escrow service.

Pictures etc don't really prove anything, even if someone shows you a nice picture of their pretty miners with a name tag, date stamp or whatever you ask for, there is still no guarantee they will send what you have paid for after you have paid them for it

Ps. I'm sorry you think I lack intelligence, my spelling, grammar etc should have shown you the opposite

Here is a free bump for you. I too am interested in the price per unit. Now that I know you are willing to accept escrow I feel a bit safer. Also I asked about the hosting fees if we wish to continue hosting them at the existing data center. Otherwise I would have in mind to ship the gear to another part of Washington.

If you're selling because you don't see these machines being profitable any longer, perhaps all you really need to do is switch hosting providers. That DC in Seattle looks pretty pricey. We can offer rates as low as $70/kW/month, or about $0.096/kWh. Also, SP10s tend to perform better in our datacenter because of our wind tunnel cooling and 254V supply voltage.

Just a thought.

The $70/kW/month, or $0.096/kWh is our all-in rate for long-term contracts. That's what we charge our customers, and that includes rent, insurance, internet access, salaries, amortized capital expenses, and the occasional pizza. Same for Centerus's $75/kW/month.

The $0.01/kWh or $0.02/kWh that sepehr is quoting is the amount he pays for electricity, and does not include rent or pizza. Unless he's planning on stealing your miners or your hashpower, that is. Then it includes rent and pizza, but it does not include the chance of return shipping of your miner.

Also, Iran uses dirty electricity, if that matters to you guys at all. We use hydro here in Washington state, USA.

Anyway, if people want to buy some of these machines and host with either flyonwall (Centerus) or with us (Toomim Bros), I'm pretty sure Carlos and I can arrange cheap bulk transportation from Seattle, Washington to our datacenters. Our DCs are both about 3 hours away from Seattle, and we both have team members who normally live in Seattle. We also might be able to arrange an in-person visit to verify that this seller is legit before anyone pays any money.

Quite a shame his asking price is so high cause I was hoping to use some of these to replace my home region hosted miners where I pay $0.13 kWH on top of rent. At $2700 per unit it's just a free gift to the seller. At best these should sell for $800 to $1000 a piece.

While Antminer S3 is 440GH/s and 350watt and 0.58 BTC each!

I once was in the market for a motocycle it was test model for people of the press with little kms less than a year old but difficult kms...so I asked what is your asking price and they replied New price minus the legal recognisable depreciation from tax office about 10%

finally after 2 years without interest from anyone was sold only for a fraction of the price I was told...
to another commercial cliend they had...

in miners now the SP10 a reasonable price to pay is about 1200-1350 usd more or less in used condition
in order to pay 2700 you must not be a miner looking for ROI

You and a number of us are in the same boat.. I am in a position to buy all 300 if there is a competitive price that is inline with the market but I'll take my S3s over these any day if they are not priced competitively..

The problem is that SP-Tech makes nice gear, but it was over priced and probably did not make him positive ROI.  I know many love the quality of the miners, but it doesn't really matter when they are useless after 6 months...

1. Is there a place to negotiate the price? We would like to buy them for 2.1 BTC each.

3. How long after funding the escrow is going to take you to ship the miners to WA, US?
4. Are the units somehow damaged? Bad ASICs, or anything that can harm mining power?
