I could never understand how these reports work, I have 9 posts with a math-defying 25% accuracy.

Of your 9 reported posts, 8 were given a verdict by moderators and one wasn't. It didn't count for or against your accuracy.

Edit: then again, that link tells me "You have reported 3 posts with 0% accuracy"; it seems none of my reports were deemed to be "accurate".  Undecided

If all 3 of them were reported recently, it could simply mean that no verdict has been given yet. I'm not sure how active the moderation team is with reports, but that is entirely possible.

BB37BB has been banned and nuked too:

It's a bit of a shame new accounts are no longer restricted to the beginner's & help section like they used to be. At least he would have to wait a few hours between accounts.

Hopefully BB will now understand that creating another new account to evade the ban doesn't work, and will stop doing that again.

It's that lack of creativity that will be the end of him... Thanks for the links, will wait until he posts something. AFAIK it's not against the rules to register alts for banned accounts, but it's against the rules to post outside Meta with those alts.

It really doesn't matter what he names his accounts. His posting style makes it pretty obvious who he is.

True.

He's on the moneypot.com chat as "WinkV" but it only takes a few lines for it to become clear who he is. Apparently he's been a mod on these forums since before bitcoin even existed, wants to tell people I'm "the silk road bandit" and wants to chop me with a chopstick.

Ho hum.

ahh. hahahahahahahahha.

doog, serious question: anything wrong with offering 1.56% house edge? (higher than 1%, but lower than satoshi dice's 1.9%.) and matching kelly.

No, but why would anyone play your 1.56% edge game when there are reputable 1% edge games available?

Almost nobody plays satoshidice any more, because they don't want to pay double the house edge of the other games. Why put yourself at a disadvantage?

Well, it's not the same dice site as everyone else. It's my 64 blocks game, the winner gets 63x. It would be a bit odd to offer 63.36x what you bet to the winner. I just thought it was easier to compute 63/64.

You can only bet on a per block basis, so that's 1.56% each.

It will be a unique game. For the next two weeks. Until someone else copies the concept. Then I can and probably will have to drop the house edge.

I'm not a mod, but I think we've just hijacked the thread now.

Nobody will gamble at higher than 1% edge because they want the best chances they can at winning money.

Some people just don't mind if its a little more than 1% edge. Its all about the game. If they get addicted to it , then 2% is fine.

The logic is simple

trusted site + low house edge will have 100x more probability than

less trusted site + bigger house edge

I'll probably start it at 1.56% like I said. I can always lower it later. The chance to win in the game is dependent on how many blocks you select. (If you pick half the blocks, then you have 50% chance to win.)

TBH, I do not think the majority of gamblers even know what a "house edge" is. I have friends that still think slot machines at our Indian Casino are beatable.
